INTRODUCTION
Hi,
I’m Joanne McLeod, i have been privileged to have Amstaff's a
part of our family now for over 12 Years . Our kennels are situated on a 2½
Acre property in a Prime Animal Husbandry area located in Lewiston, South
Australia . I'm a Qualified Obedience Instructor and in my spare time I enjoy showing
our dogs campaigning them through to become Australian Champion's. Our dogs
also compete in the highly competitive Sport of competition Weight Pulling,
I own, train and handle the first American Staff Female in South Australia to have
gained a Working Weight Pull Dog Title (W.W.P.D).
I
acquired my first American Staff Dindima Lady Di in 1996 from
David Williams & started obedience training and showing her straight
away. Lady gained her Aust Ch. title with great ease, she is now
retired and enjoy's just lazing around the property watching over the
kids.
A
couple of years later I became the proud owner of two more Amstaffs from Linda
Craw, the first was a blue bitch (Ash) Sired by Arson (Am Ch Pacific's Hot Pursuit
(IMP USA), out of Georgia (Aust Ch Lyntiki Sweet Georgia). Sadly Ash's
life was taken away at such a young age, but not before producing ten
beautiful pups to Ch Amtex Pacific Pioneer (ai).
The next addition to our kennel was our Foundation male, Lyntiki
Tribal Warrior IID AKA Rebel, who's mother (Triskara
Mea Kaurake) was imported from New Zealand in Dam. Rebel is proving to
be a real character with an attitude to match.
My
fourth Amstaff is Rebels daughter Tia, bred by Kerry and
Wayne Forrester. Tia is truly my baby, with the sweetest of
temperaments. "Thanks guys"!
Our latest addition as of 2009 are 2 stunning female's Sired by Luke, the
Top Weight Pull Staff in S.A owned by Stuart Barber of Runamuk
Kennels, we know now that the saying
"all good things come to those who wait" is certainly true in
this case.
I
would also like to take the opportunity to thank Neil Erskine from Bark Buster,
who has a beautiful brindle boy (Nganjalu Indy) from our first mating,
whelped 19/03/1998 . Neil has been tirelessly promoting Indy
to the public showing them what a truly Magnificent breed the
American Staffordshire Terrier is.
