Twentieth Century Rewrite

Joseph Ng

Elizabeth: Oh my god. I’m going to kill this girl.

John: Who?

Elizabeth: Your ex-mistress, Abigail.

John: Oh….

Elizabeth: Yes, oh. I can’t believe you cheated on me. And with her of all people!

John: I’m sorry honey, it was a one time thing.

Elizabeth: Damn right you’re sorry. And what the hell is this? She’s accusing me of witchcraft now!

John: She is?

Elizabeth: Yea! That’s why I’m mad!

John: Oh, sorry.

Elizabeth: Stop apologizing and so something about it!

John: Well you shouldn’t have anything to worry about. Abigail told me that they were on drugs and dancing in the back yard with loud music for fun. Nothing devilish about that.

Elizabeth: Well you better tell the judge about this.

John: I will, and I’ll try to prove it to him.

Elizabeth: Try? You better make sure I get out of this mess without anything happening. Me taking care of your kids and everything, cleaning the house and making you dinner. I deserve better.

John: You do, and I’ll make it up.

Elizabeth: You better.
