The death of Gatsby was tragic. At the sight of the crime scene, Gatsby is shot in the back. The suspect, George Wilson, is found dead with a bullet wound to the head, with the gun half a foot away from his right hand. A statement was taken from Nick Carraway, a friend of Gatsby. From Nick statement, Gatsby seemed to be just a regular rich guy. He had relations with Daisy Buchanan. There was conflict between Gatsby and Tom. Gatsby car ran over the suspect’s wife. My guess is that the suspect, George Wilson thought that Gatsby ran over Myrtle Wilson, and came to take revenge. Then he realized that he did something wrong, and killed himself. We did not find Tom or Daisy for their statements.
