We met during the war

My heart was captured when I saw her

She knew I wasn’t rich

I hope she wouldn’t be a witch

I fell in love with her instantly

I wanted to be with thee

But something happened suddenly

Together weren’t we

We should have listened to the rumor and gotten married

Right now we would be living up the life of luxury

Together we could have been happy

But she isn’t with me.
