Nobody knows why Halloween was such a mystical day. Ted Johnson was born on Halloween in a small town in Massachusetts. That day must have been cursed because all his love ones would die on that day. At the age of 5, his mother was killed in a car accident. By the time he was 10, he became an orphan when a bank robber killed his dad. At the age of 15, his younger brother was kidnapped, and his body came out of nowhere bloodied and horrifying. The older brother committed suicide 5 years later. As you can tell, there is a pattern horrible death every five years.

Ted met his future wife Agnes at a bar when he was twenty-three. A year and passed and everything was good. They talk about marriage, and when Ted realized if they were to get married, she would have to be living, when he turns 25.

Ted tried hard to insure his future wife’s safety. He took off from work the whole month before his birthday to be with her and protect. He dreaded the days. He tried to spend time with her. As each day went by, he would become more and more paranoid. On the day of his birthday Agnes decided to buy her a cake. Ted begs her not to go, but she insisted, because he just turned 25, and nothing happened to her, therefore the curse must have been gone. So he allows her to go.

As the hours passed, Ted became worried. He wondered why Agnes wasn’t back yet. So he went to search for her. He searched for hours but he still couldn’t find her. So he went home to wait. Then he heard a knock. He went to open the door and he yelled in horror. He saw the only person in the world left that he loved so much covered in blood with a knife on her back.

"Why?" he yelled! "Why? What have I done to deserve this?" Since it was Halloween, some kids came trick or treating. He invited them inside the house for a lot more candy, and then he butchered them. He left the house in rage with a shotgun and shot went on a killing spree. When the cops came, they shot him 31 times. And till this day, people in that small town didn’t go out on Halloween.
