-MEMBER
      Becoming a member of the Senior Center by participating in our quality programs
      and activities. Membership forms are available at the receptionist's desk and are      
      completed and returned to the center.  Members will receive a bi-monthly 
      newsletter and a membership key card.

-FRIEND
Friends of the New Fairfield Senior Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization 
whose purpose is to provide additional funds and support for programs that will enhance the
lives of our community's older population.  Two of the major fundraisers are the Granny's
Tag Sale in June and the Harvest Bazaar in October. Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday
of each month at  7pm at the Senior Center.  People of any age are welcome to join and help
support the center thru participation in the fundraisers.

-VOLUNTEER
      Volunteers are imperative to the running of the Senior Center
      The Senior Center is always looking for volunteers, especially in the
      following areas:
           � Receptionist Desk: Morning or Afternoon Coverage
           � Kitchen helpers for the lunch service
           � Crafters for Fund Raisers and the Red Cross Sewing

-ENVIRONMENT WORK
The Environment Corps is a group of seniors dedicated to the preservation of clean water.  They are looking for men and women who have a sincere interest in using their skills and energy to make a difference in our environment. You may be looking for new ways to be involved in your community or seeking a way to renew your vitality and enthusiasm for life. Water quality in our environment is important to everyone and you can make a difference. The Environment Corps run out of the New Fairfield Senior Center is the recipient of the Green Circle Award from the CT Department of Environmental Protection.

-HOSPITALITY
       It is the mission of the Hospitality Committee to promote a feeling of an association and welcome
       to encourage interest in the center.  If you'd like to find out more on how to join please let us know.

-TEACH
The Senior Center is always interested in adding new ideas to our wide variety of  programming.  If you are interested in sharing a talent or concept for a class please contact the staff at the center.

-DONATE
      Every gift will be used to benefit the New Fairfield Senior Center and
      is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.  Email questions to the Director of

General Donations- This is the most common and easiest way for you to give. 
        The New Fairfield Senior Center immediately benefits and you receive an immediate tax deduction.
     
Tributes- Gifts that are made in honor of a departed loved one or a special
        occasion for a friend.
     
Endowment- Endowments to the Senior Center Endowment Fund will
        provide ongoing financial support and serve as meaningful ways for
        individuals, families, corporations or foundations to leave a lasting legacy.
     
Wills or Living Trusts- Contributions can be made through your will. These gifts      
        can be cash, stocks and bonds, or personal property.

-ADVISE
        Join a town advisory committee to advocate for the needs of our Seniors
� Commission on the Aging
                    Appointed by the Board of Selectman.  Purpose is to determine the
                    needs of the town elderly.  Request, recommend both programs and
                    services to the BOS to meet those needs.  Advocate for those services 
                    for the elderly within the town boards and community.

� Senior Center Advisory Committee
                    Appointed by the Senior Services Director.  Assist Senior Center staff in         
                    setting goals, monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating operations at the center. 
                    Review and recommend policy and procedures of the center.  Advocate for
                    the needs of the Senior Center within the town boards and community.
