This page is dedicated to the national heroes and icons of the Nautilus Free State. These people, whether they be fictional or real, had a large influence on our idealisms and for that we salute them.


Isaac Asimov - Writer of the Foundation Series and one of the foremost leaders in science-fiction writings.


H.G. Wells - Writer of many famous historical and science fiction books.


Jules Verne - Author of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, the book which inspired this micronation. Also the author of many other famous "classic" sci-fi books.


Harry Turtledove - Alternate History writer and author of the Worldwar Series and many other notable works.
