It was an great honor to be elected as the new Chairman of the North Florida Chinese Association (NFCA) on October 11, 2008.  While I am humbly assuming the leadership and responsibility.  I want to once again personally extend my sincere thanks to all of you.  Board members also include Yali Chang, Lihji Wang, Angelina Wei, & Charles Wu.  In addition, Maria Chang will serve as the financial assistant. 

 

The Board just have the first meeting on 11/01/2008 and the following are the meeting summary and this coming year's events:

 

1. Membership fee for year 2009:

    Family  $20.00

    Single  $10.00

    You may pay the membership fee now or wait till the Chinese New Year party to pay your membership fee.

 

2.   Chinese New Year party          01/24/2009

     Spring Picnic                   05/16/2009

     Fall Picnic                     10/10/2009

     Details on the place, time and cost will be forth coming later.

 

If you can provide the prize(s) or performance(s) for the Chinese new year, please let me know at your earliest convenience.

 

Since NFCA has no gatherings planned until 01/24/2009, I wish you and your family the happiest of holidays and we will see you at the Chinese New Year party.
