At the Christmas brunch, we circulated a questionnaire asking members to suggest activities for the coming year. We received several proposals, each one more interesting than the next. Work has already started on a few of them.

A detailed project was submitted by Andr� Petrowski. The NFB-Club-ONF is fully in favour of it and will carry it out provided members are willing to pitch in. This is how Andr� presented his project:

"Usually, when old-timers meet, the first phrase that tumbles out is: 'DO YOU REMEMBER' The NFB is all about films, but it is also about the people who worked there in one capacity or another to think up, create, invent and show these films. Many have contributed to the NFB's fame. There were alvays people (in front of and behind the camera) to ensure that the films and videos in production would reach their audiences, either by way of theatres, on television, in schools or special venues - or any other way they could think of. And, obviously, all these former staffers have their personal memories. 'DO YOU REMEMBER' Memories of funny, crazy happenings, hopefully not too sad, that would be of interest to EVERYONE. Why not make the coming year a kind of 'DO YOU REMEMBER' year and recall the events, tell the stories? Ron's and Olivier's gang are keen. For my part, I vould be willing to participate in putting together a collection of this sort. Let me hear from you. - Petrov"

The project is open to everybody (Human Resources, Publicity and Marketing, Production, Administration, Distribution, Technical Services) and the collection will be BILINGUAL. Andr� needs storytellers, translators, interviewers, editors and many others to build a strong team. And don't worry, the NFBClubONF won't be censoring the material.
