BINDON, Thomas Joseph. At the St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at the age of 79. Thomas is predeceased by his beloved wife Winnie O'Grady, his parents James and Theresa Bindon and his brothers Andrew, James and John (Frances). He is survived by his loving children Wynanne (Jean- Francois Painchaud), James (Mable Loung) and Thomas and his adored grandchildren Quinn, Meaghan, Sarah, Louise and Stella. Dear brother of Marie (Cyril Power), Louise (late Joe Doyle), and Winnie (James Carew), and brother-in-law of Eileen Woll, Maureen Power, Louise O'Grady and Jerry O'Grady (Betty). Thomas will be sadly missed by his dear friends Patricia Carroll and Lois Scharfe and his many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Church (1111 Taylor-Kidd Blvd, Kingston) on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. Father Leo Bryne officiating. Rite of Committal will follow at the Cataraqui Cemetery. Friends will be received at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (John Counter Blvd at Highway 2) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kingston Hospital Joint Advancement, St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital, Palliative Care Unit in Thomas' memory.
