The Mansion On The Hill Mother Teresa and The Pope died and went to Heaven. Saint Peter met them at the Pearly Gates and told them that because of their lifelong service to mankind, they would get a special reward. " Mother Teresa", he said, " Because of your service with the poor and unfortunate, instead of just your own personal cloud you are going to receive a small cottage to spend the rest of your days here with us. It's not much, but it will afford you a little extra privacy and comfort." Mother Teresa was pleased. " Pope Paul", said Saint Peter, " Because of your tremendous sacrifices for the sake of your church and your people, you are going to receive a 4 room house with a good view of The Heavenly Choir." And the Pope was pleased. A couple of weeks later the two of them were walking around to familiarize themselves with the streets of Heaven when they spotted a huge mansion high upon a hill with a breathtaking view of most of Heaven. Puzzled, the pair returned to Saint Peter's Gate to ask him who would deserve such a lofty reward compared to them.
