Healing Properties:
Malachite can be used to draw negativity from the body, aid in the easing of arthritis pain and asthma.
Magical Properties:
Malachite is said to be able to detect impending danger - lore states that it used to break into pieces as a warning. Malachite also guards against negativity and calms ones emotions. Associated with the heart charka, malachite is believed to aid in spells designed to attract love. It is also thought to help in business success.
Colour: Varying from deep green to blue-green.
Hardness: 3 1/2 - 4
Crystallization: Monoclinic; Crystals are rare and usually prismatic. Can also be radial, fibrous, botryoidal, stalactitic, incrusting, and earthy.
