Healing Properties:
Garnet enhances strength and endurance. It also relieves skin conditions, and regulates the heart and blood.
Magical Properties:
Garnet is very useful in protection, and is often thought to strengthen the aura. It wards off danger.
Colour:
Garnet comes in many different colours; green, pale to bright yellow, fiery orange and fine earth and umbra shades. The most common is shades of red.
Hardness: 6 1/2 - 7 1/2
Crystallization:
Garnet is a crystal that forms at generally high temperatures and pressures, deep within the earth and most probably the moon and other inner planets including asteroids.
