Reason for Recommendation/General Review:
This is an introduction
explaining how astrology affects peoples' romantic and sex lives. It gives basic
info about each sun sign, and explains how the position of certain planets
contributes to your sexuality and romantic preferences. It does give a good
basic intro for those who don't know much about astrology. However, the book is
short and doesn't provide extensive details. As well, I noticed that the author
tended to be repetitive, and that at times her explanations of the differences
between sun signs was vague and blurry. As well, she states that women need to
be approached romantically depending on which sign their Venus is in, and that
they look for a man who embodies their Mars position. With men she says they
want to be approached in terms of their Mars, and look for their Venus in a
woman. I found this theory not quite right, and rather hetero-centric.
I have read better books on sexual astrology, but this is a decent book for
beginners to astrology and full of interesting little tidbits. It was on the
mark most of the time, and if it was a little vague and general, well, astrology
is vague and general anyhow, so I recommend the book.
