Free* Online Diploma on Yoga & Health is a modular online diploma offered by 'Yog Vidyapeeth (Proposed Open University of Yoga)'.

The objective of this online course is to provide you with the basic understanding of the Yoga and its application in your personal health management.
Advance modules are aimed at persons undergoing education in health and alternative medicine and persons who wish to open their own yoga training centres. Medical doctors are also encouraged to take this diploma for understanding the application of yoga in health management of their patients.

Five modules of this diploma are free for all the course students viz.

1. Yoga Basics
2. Introduction to Pranayama or breathing excercises
3. Elements of Therapeutic Yoga
4. Basic Ayurveda and nutrition management
5. Introductory Meditation

Other modules are offered to students subject to course fee of US$10 per module. These modules are listed below:

1. Advance Theory of Yoga Practice and Training
2. Setting of Yoga School
3. On-line Teaching in Yoga
4. Advancements in Meditation and its therapeutic use
5. Practical Training in Pranayama or breathing excersises (fee for this module is fixed depending on the location and number of students)
6. Customized modules based on individual requirement (fee for this module is fixed depending on the location and number of students)

Eligibility: Any person with a sound knowledge of English can persue this course.
