If I Died Tonight
How many of you
Whose eyes shine with light
Would celebrate life
If I died tonight?

And if when I go
The candles burn out
Would it be the wind
Or my spirit gone out?

And if passing by
I breath on your face
Will you shudder in horror
Then memory erase?

What if, upon leaving,
I turn back around
Could I with new power
Drive you all to the ground?

Could terrified nightmares
Follow eachother
Because of the death
Early death of your brother?

Would I be permitted
To descend with the rain
And ensure you know peace
No, never again?

How many of you
(While your eyes shine with light)
Would pray for the death
If I died tonight?
