Third and Last Part
The three servants were very curious with the noise that came from the inside of the coconut. When they had rowed for a long time along the Big River (Amazon) and they were very far from the Big Cobra, they decided to open the coconut. They made fire with woodsticks in the little boat and melted the wax that covered the little hole of the coconut that hided the secret of the night . So the night escaped and everything turned so different! Finally the young snake girl slept with her husband. The animals changed their habits and colors. The jaguar arose with his fur blackspotted, the night specks! The girl now is pregnant, she turned herself into the Mother Snake, and as a mother she gave night colored animals to us. She made the cujubim - a kind of partridge - and made its head white with clay and its beak and wing feathers red with urucum ( a plant with red seeds ). Mother Snake made the inhambu - a  heron - and many animals. And the three servants? Some people say that as a punishment for their misbehaviour, they were turned into three monkeys. That's why nowadays the monkeys have black specks on their faces and hands - burned wax and night spots.
Others say that they turned to three white ducks, white as the moonlight

The end.
