R: Now, do you find that it works, cause im new to this, it only like my third week.

V: I've been on it for two years now and its a lot of vitamins, but they are vitamins that your body needs, but the tough thing for me is I love bread, pancakes, wafles any kind of bread product, giving up white flour was the biggest thing.

R: Well, that happen to me this weekend. She send me the list of what Im not supposed to eat.

V: And its all that you like!

R: Basically I can only eat red snaple.

V: With no butter and no oil.

R: Thats it. Every food in the world is in the try to avoid if possibble list.

V: Its tough, its a way of life.

R: Well, you were very tired, like me, thats why you went?

V: Yeah! skin, you know, energy, trying to flush my body.

R: Well, you have 3 kids, you must be very tired.

R: How are the kids?

V: They are great, they wanted to come today but they had school picture day and I try to make them play hooky for school picture, but you can't miss that.

R: Can't miss that. With that with the horrible fake laser stripes in the back.

V: I know.

R: Thats scary!

V: Scaring me!

R: Is she going to do trick or treat or is she to old for that?

V: Well, the oldest had bought a beautiful crush-velvet kitty cat outfit. Then she decided she wanted to be a spice girl, so I said: Melonie why dont you be kitty-cat spice? She goes: MOM!!! So, Im getting her a big wig with little ears a little kitty-cat outfit and platforms.

R: And she went for it?

V: Yeah, Kitty-Cat Spice.

R: Tell her Im going as old spice!! Im putting a little after shave on me. That will be it!!. Now, I saw Soul Food this weekend, a wonderfull movie!!. You are so great on it.

V: We started August 31st, so we've been touring for the last couple of months and its been great and life in the bus, well we got the girls bus, its like a dormitory on wheels, me and the girls we have a little lounge and the buncks. its like you reverted to childhood inmediately. When you got six girls in pajamas, eating popcorn and watching movies on a bus. Judd, our driver, we were coming from Boston, and Judd said: hey girls!, David Bowie's bus is coming on the left side and we were like: David Bowie!!!, David Bowie!!!!! We pulled the windows, we were like lets flash him!, so we get ready.

R: So, you mooned him?

V: We were ready to moon him, we waited, and he was like in a toll booth, never caught up with us!.

R: Really?

V: We called him on the radio and they said: oh! David he is in the back eating sushi. We were like: Oh! forget it!

R; Who is he kidding? He was in the back going; Look! Vanessa Williams bus! get up close so I can moon her, Please I want to moon her!!

V: I know.

R: You have a driver named Judd?

V: Judd! Where is Judd?

R: Now, do you ever sneak up behind and go: poor judd... (song)

V: He is a sweet heart.

R: Thats from Oklahoma for those people who are theater musical iliterates. So you are on tour now, are you going to Europre to tour?

R: Do the kids stay here? that must be tough, they got school.

V: They come in the weekends and stuff. They get up and sing a little background during soundcheck and they've got their little drumsticks. Everyone takes care of every body, Its nice.

R: So, do you think they have aspirations to be performers, can you tell at this age? or is it to young?.

V: They've got a little star appeal, but I dont know what it is, but they all light up when they know that there is a camera or a mic available.

R: They are great kids. I saw them when we did that special last year, your special.

V: And they loved Elmo.

R: And with your singer, what is the guys name?.

V: Rob Mathes, musical director.

R: And he also sang a son with Vanessa during rehersal. He blew me away that guy!. He is going to be a big star. Rob Mathes look for him. Hey! in the mean time go see Soul Food and buy her cd NEXT cause you'll enjoy it and remember: who were you thinkin' 'bout?. Vanessa you know I love you.
