<Scene cuts into a hightech room. AOI KARIN sits at her chair facing a communications screen. She looks pleased, no doubt dreaming about her nice pet, sweet, sweet home, and loving husband that she hadn't gotten yet. Her superior comes on-screen.

CHIEF: Ouch! Aoi-kun, what have you done?!

KARIN (Pleased look vanishes): What's wrong sir?

CHIEF: The population is disappearing!

KARIN: I really did it then! I was mostly positive before, but now-

CHIEF: Not like that! Something's wrong, people are turning into orange jello!

KARIN: What? That shouldn't be happening, no that way...(Trails off in thought)

CHIEF: Explain your mission status at once!

KARIN (Snapping back to reality): Well, I tracked down the target, who was visiting some associate at a local university. I checked the DCM stats before loading to make sure I had the right guy, and shot him...

CHIEF (Thinking to himself): That still wouldn't explain why people are melting into jello. What could possibly-

KARIN (Words breaking into the Chief's thoughts): ...And then I shot his friend , picked up, and left.

CHIEF: YOU WHAT?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU SHOT SOMEONE ELSE?! WHERE DID YOU GET ANOTHER BULLET?!

KARIN: I found it in the chamber of the gun, where I thought I left my original bullet. I went and found mine, left for the past, and analyzed the unidentified one.

CHIEF: And?

KARIN: Turns out it was a varied hormone/pheromone enhancer, kind of like the one in stores, only permanent. It had some illegal modification on it, so I took it off.

CHIEF: And you used the bullet on someone else?

KARIN: I had to talk to the target, Monomari Junta, to confirm identity. He had a person with him, about senior class, who asked me what I just shot Junta with. He was a genetics buff, and got me to talk about why I was there. I told him about the DCM's, and he asked me if I had another. The guy was pretty scary, but it seemed he had this soft spot for some girl; Yui, I think her name was.

CHIEF: Sou you shot him with the bullet? We have to correct this error immediately! What's the information on this guy so we can effect a counter-medicine?

KARIN: His name in Rokubungi Gen... (KARIN watches in morbid facination as suddenly the CHIEF melts into a puddle of orange goo.) Oh dear. There goes my money. I wonder if I can get some financing somewhere else? Rokubungi-kun said he did have some company backing. Maybe they'd be interested in a smart employee from the future?

Where was this going? What was he thinking? Will this continue?

In respected order: Nowhere, I was bored, and in English class. Not by me. I started thinking about Evangelion, and wondered about a couple of things:

1. How did Gendo really land all of those chicks, let alone marry Yui? Couldn't have been his winning smile.

2. Is it just me, or is there an eerie resemblance to the Eva plugsuits, and Karin's tight little number?

Back to the hack I go.
