Introduction

Welcome to the website of NEXUS, one of two teams representing The Australian National University (ANU) in this year’s Higher Education Workplace Skills Olympiad (HEWSO). We were partnered with the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) and were given the task of “increasing the capabilities of the Pacific Islands statistical community through the use of technology.” Specifically, the ABS hoped to capitilise on its existing technological capabilities, particularly its Learning Management System, which is its in-house training facilitation system.
