Dedicated To The Memory Of ...
This pay-per-view is dedicated to both the memory of the MWF as well as the man who made this all possible, Scott Worthington.
The MWF is the "stem-cell" responsible for the evolution of the NLR. It was a place that garunteed a great time and everyone who went there to play the game had the time of their lives. The atmosphere created by Edward Walker was matched by no other, and he brought new meaning to "for life". Walker had found a way to create something about the MWF that made it so that once you had a taste, nothing but the MWF could satisfy the thirst. Walker always made it a point to only have the cream of the crop in his core and rightfully so. Which is why we saw the birth of the MSW. Created as a training ground for the great federation, Walker viewed this as a way for players to get geared up for the big leagues and to hone skills, "the best of the best"! In time however, all good things must come to an end. Walker needed to move on in life, after giving so much fun to so many others'. We will be forever indebted to him for this, but his legacy will live on through us!
Scott Worthington was asigned the priveledge of running MSW for Walker, after a long history of quality service for him. Scotty did a great job in MSW, but always has big aspirations for it. When news came of Walker's need to close the MWF, Scotty saw this as his moment to shine. He grabbed the MSW and ran, taking as much of the MWF with him as he could. With the help of past MWF stars, Scotty transformed the MSW from a development territory into the NLR, a thriving federation! He bolstered together a great group of guys and put on one hell of a show! Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse for this great guy, and he was forced to hand the keys over to people whom he thought would be the best to keep the memory alive. Scotty is the reason this pay-per-view is being aired, Scotty is the reason we're all here, and so in his honour we will keep this ship afloat!
