Due to some technical difficulties during the transition of the "Hostile Takeover", some of the tapes being held by Scotty Heart were not atteinable in time to make the airing of Threshold. Significant tributes to the MWF that deserve the same exposure as those which aired Sunday. Tonight, we bring you the second, and concluding, part to the much deserved tribute to the MWF!
Fear
[ Fear is seen sitting down with Payne in a dark room. Only a small video screen is present and the MWF logo is seen on it. He appears to be in deep thought before finally finding the strength to talk. ]
Fear: So, I guess this is my good bye speech for MWF. It's not everyday a man like myself is given a chance to be me. MWF gave me that chance and I was allowed to show the world everything about me weather they wanted to see it or not It was a sad day in wrestling history when I heard of the sudden illness that struck Edward Walker. I was shocked as Payne came to me with tears in her eyes and told me to sit down. I nearly screamed at the top of my lungs when I heard of this and was about to quit this sport all together. You see many people only remember me from their rival company MCW so they thought I was not MWF. But I bleed for that company. I still do bleed for them! Every night I go out there in front of thousands of fans and I dedicate each match to the MWF and its legacy. To this day I dont ever regret telling MCW to screw off and jumping ship to MWF!
[ Fear starts to shed a tear showing a softer side to the monster that is rare for him He breathes a deep breath as Payne places her arm around his shoulders and whispers it's ok. ]
Fear: To Edward Walker God bless you for believing in me! If it was not for your support I would still be the green wrestler that stayed within the box. God Bless you Walker without you and the MWF I would be nothing The name of Fear would be NOTHING! My legacy would have been nothing! I for now on will dedicate every match to the legacy of the MWF for as long as I am doing this sport the MWF will never be dead! The NLR has a lot to prove and with my help along with Troy Knight, Gutter Rat, Leandro, Viper J, and Gunman Stinger as the true MWF Alumni it shall live on in your name. With talents like Kyle Bauer, Spawn, and among others we will stand united and we will make the MWF proud! NLR will never be MWF for the MWF was in a class of its own But the NLR will come damn close to reaching it!
To The MWF and to Edward Walker I leave you with this. It's a poem I have entitled Immortal.
The roar of the crowd
The sounds of the screams
The music plays real load
We lived our dreams!
A place to call home
A place like no other
We banned together
And you all are like my brothers
Immortal
We stand tall
Immortal
Ten feet above them all
Immortal
We gave our lives
Immortal
We gave each other high fives
Immortal
Could this really be the end?
Immortal
Your legacy is the trend!
We stand before you
United we fall
We closed our eyes
As we got that call
MWF
you are forever etched in the minds of us all
MWF
Forever Immortal!
[ Fear stops talking and pulls out a familiar looking Phantom of the opera mask and places it on top of the TV. Payne and him stand up and both place a black rose on the TV as well and walk out the room. The camera pans in on the mask and the roses. Then Darkness. ]
Sully: What the HELL was that? A disaster piece by Fear?
JP: I think that's been copyrighted Sullivan...
Sully: It doesn't matter, sometimes I'm concerned this whole show is a blatant rip-off!!
JP: Sully!!
Thunderbull
JP: Folks, we're going to take you back to what happened now, at the end of Threshold, and what we weren't able to show you. It was indeed, the not our own superstars that finished out the show, but Ed Walker himself the Grandfather of the NLR who had a suprise for us all .
(( THRESHOLD: ))
(( [Thunder Bull then turns his attention to Storm and in the blink of an eye Thunder Bull has a firm hold of Storm and begins spinning him around, only to violently crash his bloodied face down onto the steel ramp, connecting with the Thunder Blade! The crowd goes into a frenzy once again for Thunder Bull who slowly gets to his feet, looking around at everyone in attendance. ]
Sully: I am so confused! What the hell is Thunder Bull doing standing in the middle of an NLR ring?
JP: He was a member of the Maximum Wrestling Federation roster He was the last ever MWF World Heavyweight Champion, need I say more?
Sully: Im speechless
JP: And you sure sound it right now.
Sully: Oh great, Thunder Bull has a microphone in his hand, looks like he is about to speak after his illegal interference during the main event of Threshold.
JP: Maybe he is here to explain certain issues he has left with some superstars here in NLR Lets go to the ring.
[The fans are left chanting repeatedly: Thunder Bull! Thunder Bull! Thunder Bull! with an overwhelming applause followed after. The Perfector of Pain stands in the centre of the ring after retrieving a microphone and walks over to the timekeeper. Thunder Bull crouches down and whispers something privately in the ear of the timekeeper who walks back to his usual area and looks under a box that is stacked next to the ring bell. He pulls out a golden object from underneath the box.]
Sully: What did he just whisper to the timekeeper?
JP: He looks to be finding something for Thunder Bull.
Sully: Maybe Thunder Bull whispered because he wants there to be an intimate moment between the two.
JP: Its obvious Thunder Bull has something planned to end this spectacular Threshold pay-per-view and he wants to end it on a high note.
[The timekeeper finally reveals the gold as the MWF World Heavyweight Championship. The crowds cheers resound around the arena as they see the prestigious MWF gold for the first time since the closure of the Maximum Wrestling Federation. The Perfector of Pain looks at the title in awe the gold reflects and glistens in his eyes until he soon shakes it off and snaps out of his vision. Thunder Bull clutches onto the World title by the straps and reads the gold platelet that reads in bold capital letters, etched perfectly to fit across the platelet neatly: THUNDER BULL. The Perfector of Pain smiles and looks into the capacity crowd who urge him on and after a few moments of eternal silence Thunder Bull breaks the simmer and begins to speak, his voice billows out with power.]
Thunder Bull: I came here tonight Ladies and Gentlemen to wish the Maximum Wrestling Federation a final goodbye a final farewell if you will. The MWF unfortunately died due to Edward Walkers unhealthy heart condition and he had no alternative but to sell it onto the Worldwide Entertainment Wrestling, the coveted purchase sold to WEW Owner and President Ben Harlum. Now as you are all aware I am now involved in the WEW project but dont think for one second my love for the MWF or in fact for the NLR has disappeared just like that.
[He would snap his fingers together and the crowd would remain quiet eager to hear Thunder Bulls all-important message. Thunder Bull would un-strap the World title belt and throws it over his shoulder as it drapes down vertically covering most part of his upper body. He would readjust his long ankle length black leather trench coat with his free hand and brush his hands through his long, half dyed red and dark brown hair. He would lift the microphone upwards to his mouth and resume speaking.]
Thunder Bull: The MWF deserves a tribute to end such a fantastic era of being on top of the wrestling pinnacle for such a long time. The sad thing about the sudden death of the MWF is it still had a lot of gas left within its tank. People question where the Maximum Wrestling Federation would have been in the next couple of years? My opinion? I believe the MWF would have been the most dominating wrestling industry around the wrestling globe today if it was still alive in the next few years. The MWF was becoming new, becoming fresh and rejuvenated as every year went on. New names signed from the beginning of Anarkist, Ross Allen and Insane Wayne to the middle age of The Hobo, Tempest and Doomsday to the freshman year of Thunder Bull, Father John Ramsey and Leandro.
[The crowd would cheer thunderously at the mentioning of these specific names, even roaring as the Perfector of Pain included himself in that short list. Thunder Bull would readjust the World title that was hanging over his right shoulder and licking his lips and pausing briefly he would soon continue to address the crowd and the people watching live at home.]
Thunder Bull: Beasts by the name of Gutter Rat and Iniquity were made by one man. Legends by the name of Troy Knight and Mark Rose were made by one man. Future stars by the name of Kid Insanity and ViperJ were evolving courtesy of one man. And true-respected champions from the very first World Champion Ross Allen to the very last me, Thunder Bull were all thankful because of one man who gave us the experience to live our dreams not to the fullest but to the max!
[The crowd would become much louder knowing of whom Thunder Bull was referring to. The Perfector of Pain would crank his neck, tilting his head to the side slightly and inspecting the fans that surrounded him as they were waving their banners in front of him and the cameras. Thunder Bull smiled widely and noticed one sign in particular that read in bold black ink marker: MWF Lives Forever. Thunder Bull gave the dedicated fan a thumb up and a respectful glance before diverting his attention back to the cameras and continuing his final farewell.]
Thunder Bull: The man, who gave us all jobs, gave us a second home and gave us the chance to redeem ourselves individually as both professionals and people. This man gave us the once in a lifetime opportunity to better ourselves not just to entertain the fans. But the soul purpose of this, his main priority of us doing this was so we knew we could surpass levels we never expected we would cross. Certain boundaries we never thought we would walk across. We achieved these many unexpected things because of one authority and thankfully because of one man who was nothing but devoted to the Maximum Wrestling Federation his creation his mind his thoughts his voice and his heart. This man people was Edward Walker!
[The crowd stood from their seats and cheered ecstatically for the name that echoed throughout the arena walls. The one name stood out as a statue as if it was built inside every ring worldwide. Thunder Bull looked down at the mat as a white bright spotlight hovered over his body, illuminating his impeccable form. Thunder Bull tapped the microphone against his chin, his expression was pensive. After a few moments of dwelling he would continue.]
Thunder Bull: This man loved the MWF so much he even shot himself once for it. Not because he wanted to destroy it no because he loved it so damn much he showed how much he was willing to sacrifice for his business. Edward Walker woke up one morning knowing that one day he would make history one way or another and what did he do? That morning he planted that seed that represented the MWF and it grew and it grew until it blossomed into the most beautiful yet controversial plant you would ever see. The roots were where Edward Walker mainly focused on as this was the point when MWF superstars truly became MWF superstars. He worked from the very bottom and built his foundation until it finally reached the top. He succeeded people in accomplishing this project he successfully built a business but it was only a matter of time until that plant was unable to survive any longer, it withered and died before him. It sounds tragic I know but remember MWF fans and Superstars around the world the MWF never ended at an unhappy time it ended as we always wanted it to it ended in the right way at the right time.
[The fans cheered once again showing appreciation to Thunder Bulls thoughtful words. Thunder Bull began to walk around the spotlight that was floating over the ring. The Threshold logo appeared much brighter due to this source of light. Thunder Bull glazed up at the ceiling before looking back down at his well polished black boots. He flicked the front part of his hair out of his face as we saw his emotionless green eyes. But something seemed different; his eyes not only showed fire but it showed sadness. A tear fell down his cheek as he quickly swept it away. The majority of the crowd in the Threshold arena were standing to their feet while a small contingency were on the edge of their seats. Thunder Bull took a deep breath, reliving a sigh before speaking once again.]
Thunder Bull: The MWF ended in a way we wanted it to, with a bang. On that last fateful night of Dynamite every man went out there unknown that it would be the last time they would enter an MWF ring. But though they were oblivious to this they still all went out there and gave every last ounce of energy they had, every fibre that was left in their body. The blood, sweat and tears that were engraved into that mat was not just because they wanted to distinguish who was the better warrior but to prove to the fans, the loyal MWF fanatics that paid their money, that paid their time and two-hours of their life that we adored them and we had much love for them. You guys have got to remember we did this all for you. Every night you see us out here whether it be an MWF ring, an NLR ring, a WEW ring it doesnt matter where we are. We still love you whether be heel or babyface. We would do this again and again just so we could see the spark in your eyes. That spark that ignites the arena knowing we did the impossible and put on a fantastic show.
[The crowd had no choice and decided to cheer, their cheers erupting out of no where whistles and applause mixed in with the cheering as more chants unfolded: Thunder Bull! MWF! and even NLR! all in one chorus. Thunder Bull leaned his arms on the ropes and seemed overjoyed by the response he had gotten from this speech. Thunder Bull however, was not done and the microphone was just beneath his chin and his mouth would open, the words slipping off his tongue.]
Thunder Bull: The MWF was about Edward Walker, the MWF was about the fans and the MWF was about the superstars who were committed to this one product. What could have been our worse daunting nightmare turned into a dream we fulfilled together because we fell in love with the MWF from day one as soon as the doors open. And as God as my witness the MWF will forever be the single most greatest company the wrestling world has ever seen!
[The now-NLR fans roared with approval at Thunder Bulls last comment. Thunder Bull frowned at the fans that started chanting his name faintly. The World title was still clasped tightly in his hold and the Perfector of Pain began to exit the ring. Thunder Bull began walking around the ring and up the rampway. The lights would dim and the crowd were left alone as silence ensued. Thunder Bull had disappeared behind the curtains but suddenly the famous theme song of A Place for My Head by Linkin Park pounded onto the PA system and Thunder Bull emerged once again from behind the curtains with a huge wooden table on wheels with a white blanket covering the table. Something was hidden beneath the blanket but Thunder Bull would not reveal things just yet. He reached the bottom of the rampway, the lights still a dark blue colour and Thunder Bull would carefully having the assistance of a few security guards at ring side move the table over the top rope and into the centre of the ring. Thunder Bull slid back into the ring and took the microphone from his trouser pocket and walked to the table. His theme music would soon die down, blaring into the distance of nothingness. Thunder Bull held onto the white blanket with a tight grip and spoke down the microphone.]
Thunder Bull: Ladies and Gentlemen if you please would you join me
[Thunder Bull flung the blanket back and unveiled the table to be stacked with wine glasses and bottles of champagne and white wine. The crowd cheered at Thunder Bulls last words to the Maximum Wrestling Federation. The Perfector of Pain popped open the lid of the champagne bottle, the cork soaring through the air and white froth spitting out of the bottle. Thunder Bull poured the champagne into the glass and placed the bottle to one side. He would then raise the glass in the air and look back up the entrance ramp suspecting some company. He would speak yet again.]
Thunder Bull: A toast to the Maximum Wrestling Federation our beginning our middle and our end as it will forever grow within us.
[Thunder Bull took a sip from the champagne after raising his glass and the crowd applauded Thunder Bulls respectfulness and passion for the federation he once competed in. Thunder Bull however, was still not finished.]
Thunder Bull: MWF was the core of wrestling and honour itself but now the Next Level Revolution will become the next big thing the MWF could never have been. I wish the NLR the best of luck and I hope you all feel that experience once again as we did when we rode with the MWF. That same feeling; that same vibe will leave you wanting and begging for some more. MWF, NLR I am afraid I must bid you a final farewell and as for the boys and girls in the back and in this arena I am declaring one favour from each and every one of you
[The Perfector of Pain walked to the edge of the ring, his arms folded up and leaning on the ropes for support. Thunder Bull still noticeably had the MWF World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder as he looked at it one final time before turning his eyes back to the rampway. Thunder Bull gestured with his hands and spoke his final words.]
Thunder Bull: To come and join me for a final drink to wish the MWF a goodbye it truly deserves.
[The crowd exploded with cheers and turned their attention to the rampway hoping someone would appear. The Perfector of Pain just stepped back a few inches from the ropes and held his arms out ready to welcome anybody who was willing to show. He seemed patient and soon a figure was uncovered from backstage.]
Sully: It's Ed..
JP: Ed Walker!!!
[ Ed Walker comes out to the Maximum theme song, full of smiles as the fans skyrocket their approval, with the show "Officially" going of the air... ] ))
Sully: I guess they were waiting to release that bit on the DVD...
JP: It ended on a high note, and I had a tear in my eye.
Sully: So did I, John, to think that no one was screwed in that ending really killed a few ratings points...
JP: Sully!!
Troy Knight
Why Troy, Why would TroyBoy pay tribute to the MWF?
Thats a simple one actually; the mighty Troy arrived at the MWF as a star, and became a super star. Walker's company served as a cocoon for Troy Knight. He emerged from that cocoon as a legend, they even renamed their achievement award "The Troy Knight Award". That is probably the greatest treasure in my life, except for Jonathan.
