JP: What a night it has been so far and to think, only one match has actually taken place!
Sully: That's right JP. Brett Cordova has turned up missing after taking a severe beating from a man who calls himself Arran Hayden. We will see how this mystery unravels as the week's progress but for now Brett Cordova has been filed MIA...
JP: But coming up in just a few moments is our Guest Star Match featuring Troy Knight and Alex Roma.
VS
Sully: That's right JP and just after that match we have a first blood match, a last woman standing match, and then the match that everyone has been waiting for. A 5-Way match pitting Rigamortis, Ragonus, Spawn, Trenton Pierce, and the wildcard Claudio Turbine to crown a Legacy Champion!
JP: First though, we bring you Troy Knight taking on Alex Roma.
Sully: Now everyone may recognize Alex Roma from his previous stint here in the NLR. Alex Roma has come back looking to make an impact in this match.
JP: And make an impact he will.
Sully: Hold your applause until after the match JP
"Larger than Life" by the Backstreet Boys rings out on the stadium's PA much to the dismay of the NLR's male fan-base. Emerging from behind the curtain comes Troy Knight. He steps onto the stage and looks around the arena, admiring the little applause he receives. He wastes no time getting to the ring however as he runs down the ramp and slides underneath the ropes and into the ring.
Frazier: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, weighing in at 220 pounds and hailing from Chicago, Illinois… TROYYY KNNNNIGHTTTT!!!!
Troy Knight stands in the center of the ring waving at the crowd in every direction. Before he can get too comfortable, however, "Feeling a Moment" by Feeder breaks Knight's concentration as he focuses his sight to the entrance ramp. Alex Roma comes out from behind the curtain to a mixed reaction from the crowd. He stands at the top of the ramp looking down at Troy Knight in the ring.
Frazier: And his opponent, weighing in at 240 pounds and coming to us from Lincoln, England… ALEEEXXXXX ROOOOOOMAAAAAA!!!!
But Before Frazier can properly finish and exit the ring; Roma runs down and slides into the ring. This catches Knight by surprise as Roma spears him to the mat and then pummels him with rights as the bell sounds to signal the beginning of the match.
JP: Wow! Explosive beginning for the returning Alex Roma, he wasted no time taking Troy Knight to the mat.
Sully: Good point JP but you can never count Troy Knight out of the match. Troy Knight did earn the top honors in the NLR last week you know...
JP: The kids got heart, but right now he's tasting fist.
Roma picks up Knight and throws him towards the ropes. Knight bounces off and comes towards Roma who runs towards Knight and puts him back down to the mat with a clothesline. Roma picks Knight back up and pushes him back into a corner where he delivers a series of mid-section kicks before extending his leg to Knight's throat for a 3-second choke. The referee breaks the choke on the count of 4 and pushes Roma back, shielding Knight. Roma pushes the referee out of the way and grabs Knight from the corner.
JP: Alex Roma is trying to take Knight out early… Great tactics.
Sully: I expect Troy Knight to pick up the pace here in a few seconds.
JP: If he waits any longer he won't have anything left!
Alex Roma wastes no time getting Knight into position for his finishing move, the Mg1… Just before he drops Troy Knight to the ring, Knight wriggles free, sliding down to the mat where he proceeds to sweep kick Roma's legs out from underneath him. He lands hard on the mat.
Sully: Troy Knight starting his comeback now. Alex Roma's ridiculous decision to try and end the match early may have got him in trouble.
JP: Stupid decision? Roma was about to plant Knight's face right into the mat!
Both men stir and make their way towards the ropes. Roma's progress seemed to have been slowed by the sweep kick but he still manages to get to his feet first. He walks towards Knight who is still using the ropes to stand. He grabs Knight by the hair and is met with a fierce Haymaker Body Punch. He doubles over holding his stomach as Knight grabs him by the arm and throws him towards the opposite side of the ropes. As Roma rebounds off the other side, Knight pushes himself against the ropes behind him and rebounds towards Roma. Knight jumps up and swings his arm around Roma's neck pulling his body to the other side and plants him with a huge Swinging DDT. Roma hits the ground and lays there motionless as Knight gets back to his feet.
JP: Huge momentum shift after that DDT by Knight.
Sully: It's about time you give him some credit.
JP: It was a good move but far from match-ending.
Knight walks towards Roma's limp body and grabs him by the hair. He gets down on one knee and puts Roma into a headlock. The referee watches for signs of Roma passing out and raises his hand once. It drops. Knight tightens the hold as the referee picks up Roma's hand a second time. It drops. Knight pleads with the referee to do it one more time. The referee picks up Roma's hand and lets it go. It stops about half-way down and hangs in mid-air shaking in a clenched fist. The look on Knight's face goes from satisfied to worry as Roma rolls to his side and tries to stand up under the weight of Knight. Knight doesn't give him much of a chance to fire back as he pushes him back and levels him with a dropkick.
Sully: With moves like those you can pretty much assume this match is over with.
JP: Well you of all people should know that it's not over until it's over Sully...
Sully: And this one is just about over JP.
Knight grabs Roma's hand and pulls him up, grabbing his hair once in reach. He pushes him back towards a corner and then throws him as hard as he can towards the opposite corner. Roma bounces off hard and crumbles to the ground. Knight walks over to Roma's body and goes to pick him up but is instead intercepted as Roma grabs onto Knight's ankle and stands up. He grabs Knight's leg and wraps his arms around his leg and back, he then uses all of the energy he has to lay Knight out with a clinching slam.
JP: My God Sully! Did you see that amazing show of strength from Alex Roma?
Sully: Lucky move when Knight least expected.
JP: Are you kidding?! Knight had Roma right where he wanted him but still couldn't capitalize on opportunity. Talk about a horrible athlete.
Both men lay on the ground as the Referee begins to count. 1... Both men lay still oblivious to what's going on around them. 2… The only movement made is Knights hand from his hip to his lower back. 3… Roma begins to stir and puts his hand on the mat to push his body up from the mat. 4… Troy Knight pushes his torso off of the mat and shakes his head in disbelief. 5… Roma pushes his torso off of the mat as well. 6… Knight falls back to the mat because of fatigue. 7… Roma pulls one leg up and is now an extended leg away from standing up. 8… Knight pushes himself back up and looks at Roma. 9… Knight quickly tries to get to his feet but is knocked down by another powerful clothesline from Roma.
JP: That was a close one Sully, almost saw the end of this match.
Sully: Would've been a damn disappointing end to a match that's turned out to be one helluva bout.
Roma grabs Knight and pulls him to his feet; he throws Knights arm over his shoulder and puts his arm around Knight's neck before thrusting him into the air and falling to his back to drop Knight with a huge falling suplex. Roma covers and the referee drops to the mat to count.
1…. 2….. KICK-OUT!
Knight thrusts his shoulder off of the mat just before the referee slammed his hand down to the mat for the third time. Roma looks at the referee and slaps his hands together three times signifying a faster count for the next time around.
JP: Knight barely kicked out and almost found his self on the losing side after one hellacious falling suplex from Alex Roma.
Sully: Luckily, Knight is always aware of what's going on. JP: Yeah, and he's sure proving it by being on the mat 90 percent of the time.
Roma pulls Knight up by his hair and kicks him in the stomach. Knight doubles over as Roma shoves his head between his legs signaling a pile driver.
JP: Bet Knight likes that one.
Sully: Shut up JP!
Roma pulls Knight up but Knight struggles to replant his feet. He succeeds in doing so and instead pulls his body erect, throwing Roma over his back and onto the mat. Roma slams hard against the mat and Knight falls against the turnbuckles for support. Clearly exhausted, Knight stands in the corner for a few moments waiting for Roma to get up on his own support...
JP: Looks like Knight is biding his time waiting for Roma to get up; standing back far enough for safety so that he doesn't use any more energy hopping out of the way for a Roma attack.
Sully: Brilliant isn't he?
JP: More like a coward truthfully...
Roma looks up at Knight and stretches out his hand as if he planned to grab him. Knight laughs and walks closer towards Roma. He reaches down to grab Roma but instead meets Roma's fist. Roma rolls onto his back and pushes his legs into Knight's gut before flipping him over into the middle of the ring. Roma scrambles to his feet and climbs the ropes. He sits on top of the turnbuckle taunting the crowd. Knight slowly stands to his feet and stumbles to the opposite side of the ring before realizing where he is. He begins to turn around but is quickly drop kicked as he turns to face Roma.
JP: This could be it! Huge drop kick from the top rope, this may be all Roma needs.
Sully: Don't count on it JP, I've seen Knight come back from worse.
JP: What?! Look at Knight's physique, he's a joke..
Roma drops on top of Knight as the referee drops next to him to count.
1…. 2…. ….--- KICKOUT!
JP: Wow, Roma just about had that. I feel we should institute the replay system here in the NLR.
Sully: Why would we do something ridiculous like that?
JP: So we can make sure nobody gets robbed just like Roma did…
Roma slams his hands down onto the mat and quickly gets to his feet. Once he gets up and stands fully erect, he walks over to Knight's limp body and grabs him by the hair. He pulls him to his feet and kicks him in the gut. He throws Knight against the opposite ropes; Knight bounces off and comes back to Roma. Roma goes for a clothesline that Knight ducks and bounces off the ropes again. Roma turns around and is met with a forearm shot to the head. Both men hit the ground and stay there for a moment or two.
Sully: Knights making a comeback.
JP: It was one damn move Sully.
Sully: Don't be jealous that your man is laying on the ground unresponsive.
JP: Yours is too..
Roma stirs before the referee can begin the 10-Count. He moves along the mat on all fours, grabbing the rope once he gets to it. He pulls himself up and stands back against the ropes trying to regain his strength… Troy Knight begins to stir as well and finds the opposite set of ropes to use as a crutch. He gets to his feet and turns around to find Roma running at him full-speed. With quick reaction he ducks and lifts right as Roma crosses his body. As he lifts it sends Roma to the outside in a spin. Roma lands hard on the back of his neck on the outside as Knight looks out in surprise.
Sully: MY GOD! DID YOU JUST SEE THAT JP?!
JP: How the hell could I not? Alex Roma is lying on the outside of the ring with absolutely no signs of movement. This could be all folks, we might as well call the match and get the EMT's down to the ring as soon as possible.
Sully: No way.. Knights worked his ass off to get to this point, he deserves to pick up this win.
Knight looks at the crowd and signals that he's going up top.. The crowd roars with excitement as he ascends the turnbuckle. Once he gets there he signals for the "Rump Thump" and jumps off of the top rope landing right on Alex Roma's face… Knight bounces off and rolls to the ground much to the fans delight. Roma and Knight both lay motionless on the outside of the ring. The referee begins the count out..
Sully: OH MY GOD! THERE IS NO WAY ROMA CAN GET UP FROM THAT ONE. A "RUMP THUMP" OFF OF THE TOP ROPE TO THE OUTSIDE ONTO ALEX ROMA!!!!
JP: I'LL GIVE YOU THAT ONE SULLY, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I can't imagine how either athlete can get up from that.
1…. Both superstars lie motionless on the cold concrete floor on the outside. 2…. Still no signs of movement from either superstar. 3…. Alex Roma's hand twitches. 4…. Troy Knight rolls over onto his back and stares up at ceiling unaware of the count out taking place. 5…. Roma's leg twitches as Knight gets up on all fours and crawls to the ring. 6…. Alex Roma raises his head and props it up underneath his hand. 7…. Troy Knight reaches the ring apron. 8…. Troy Knight gets to his feet and grabs onto the bottom rope. 9…. Roma rolls onto his back apparently having given up. …..1--- At the last second Troy Knight rolls into the ring and rolls back out restarting any count.
Sully: This match was just about over but Troy Knight made it to the ring just in time to restart the count. But it looks as if Troy Knight is going back to Alex Roma.
JP: They both have the heart of a warrior and I don't see any way for Roma to stage a comeback but it's possible.. There have been crazier things ladies and gentlemen…
Troy Knight grabs Alex Roma who we now see has been busted open… He walks Roma back to the ring where he rolls him inside of the ring and slides in after him. He picks Roma up and throws him against the opposite rope setting him up for "Heaven Sent"…
Sully: This is it JP. This will end the match once Knight connects.
Knight begins to spin and catches nothing but air. Once he gets back into position he finds Roma standing in front of him. Roma leaps at Knight and clotheslines him into the ropes, they bounce off and Roma wraps his arms around Knight before spinning and landing a huge momentum shifting belly-to-belly suplex.
JP: This match isn't over yet folks..
Sully: What the...?! How?
JP: Heart Sully. A helluva lotta heart.
Roma rolls onto the top of Knight.
1… 2…. KICKOUT!
Roma rolls off of Knight and picks him up. He throws him against the ropes but with one last leap of desperation, Knight leaps into the air and lands a huge Spinning heel kick to the jaw of Roma. Roma crumbles to the mat and Knight crumbles on top of him.
Sully: "HEAVEN SENT". KNIGHT JUST LANDED "HEAVEN SENT" ON ROMA. THIS MATCH IS OVER!
1….
JP: KICKOUT ROMA!!!
2….
Sully: Too late, this match is over JP.
3….
Frazier: Here's your winner… TROOOOOOY KNIIIIIGHTTT!!!!
JP: Knight won the match, I gotta give these two superstars credit. They took it above and beyond and gave us one helluva match.
Sully: There is no doubt about that JP but I told you Knight was going to go all out and you still doubted him.
JP: Yeah.. Yea---… Wait… What the hell is this?
"I Will Be Heard" by Hatebreed fills the arena with a monstrous applause as Trenton Pierce steps from behind the curtain with a microphone in hand. He walks down the ramp and pulls himself onto the apron where he then proceeds to slide between the ropes..
Trenton Pierce: Cut the damn music…
The music cuts as Trenton circles the ring looking towards the entrance stage below the titan-tron.
Trenton Pierce: Arran Hayden. So you've followed me once again and we meet up once again in the NLR. I guess you didn't get your ass kicked enough back in the IUWF by me and the rest of the C.O.D., huh Hayden? Hayden, It's time to stop all of this bull[bleep]it once and for all. I knew that even after all those years you'd somehow make sure that you stayed in contact with me. So was that you who called me on the phone in the motel room a few weeks back Hayden? Well how about this. .. If you're the one that's been behind the messages, phone calls, and what not then, I get it. Bring your ass out here and we'll settle this.
JP: Trenton Pierce is apparently pretty pissed off that Arran Hayden has made his presence known here in the NLR.
Sully: Classic example of a guy too greedy to share the spotlight.
Trenton Pierce: HAYDEN! Bring your ass down that ramp and into the ring. You wanna finish this? Let's do it then. You've been following me around all this time and now that you've been exposed you still don't have the courage to face me one-on-one… You're a f[blee]king coward Hayden, you always have been. You've never been able to meet me face-to-face… I should've ended you back in the IUWF, but I didn't, that was my mistake. Now I will. So let's go, come on out.
JP: Apparently this Arran Hayden is a coward, he hasn't shown himself and quite frankly I think it's because he knows he'll get his ass handed to him.
Sully: Yeah right. Wait until the Elimination Chamber if you wanna see somebody get their ass handed to them, Trenton will cover you on that one.
Everything remains still as Trenton smirks and turns from the entrance ramp.
Trenton Pierce: Just like you Hayden, you never fail to……
Trenton is cut short as a image of Arran Hayden is shown on the Titan-Tron. Hayden looks at Trenton with an evil grin..
Arran Hayden: You always want to do things your way, don't you Pierce? Well, I'm here to inform you otherwise. Unless you magically grow feathers and turn into a damn chicken, you'll be crossing my roads when I let you. Don't think just because you may become something your not. Don't let tonight get to your head. You know this game of cat and mouse is beginning to bore me. The only way to end it is through you. You have two choices. Either you retire from the ranks of the NLR or I'll retire you for good. It'll be like old times, except I won't be the one in the middle of the ring clutching helplessly at some part of my body I need to survive. I've spent two years devising a strategy and I'll be damn if you mess it up now. Hayden has spoken!
The arena darkens as the fans are whipped into a frenzy... Trenton is still in the ring looking up at the Titan-Tron when the lights go out. He directs his attention to the ramp but is quickly knocked down as Arran Hayden spears him from behind, taking him down to the mat. The lights turn back on as Arran Hayden jumps to his feet and begins to stomp the back of Trenton's head. He picks him up and grabs him by the face, yelling into his face the whole time. Adding insult to injury, he spits into the face of Trenton Pierce before setting him up for the "Hayden Bomb"..
JP: Talk about a coward!
Sully: Shhh…
Hayden tucks Trenton's head between his legs and looks at the crowd before pulling Trenton up and slamming him down hard with monstrous strength. Trenton's back bounces off of the mat making his head snap back and smash into the mat as well. Hayden mounts Trenton and begins to pummel him with lefts and rights. He then gets up and looks to the outside of the ring. He slides underneath the rope and grabs a chair. He slides back into the ring and walks towards Trenton. He raises the chair high above his head and slams it down onto the head of Trenton Pierce. Trenton's body convulses and then dies off. Hayden picks Trenton up and sets him up in the corner, Trenton's right and left legs draped over the second rope. Hayden sets the chair to the side and delivers a series of stunning kicks to the jaw of Trenton who is now bleeding profusely.
JP: SOMEBODY GET OUT HERE AND STOP THIS MAN BEFORE THERE IS NO MORE TRENTON PIERCE!!!
Sully: Keep going I always say..
JP: This is insane Sully, I'm phoning the back for help. I can't believe Mrs. McGuire has let this go on as long as she has. This is just sick.. If he keeps this up, there will be no Legacy Championship match for Trenton Pierce tonight.
JP calls to the back and then hangs up a few seconds later as EMT's rush down the ramp towards the ring. Inside the ring, Hayden walks across the ring and then pulls the chair up in striking position. He rushes towards Trenton, leaps and lands the hardest chair shot this side of the world to Trenton's head. Trenton's body slams to the side and crumbles to the mat as Arran slides out of the ring. The EMT's rush the ring and quickly drop to Trenton's side where they try to get him stabilized. We fade to the backstage...
As we cut backstage an ebony figure dressed in a pure ivory colour suit, he wears a long white trench coat over his suit and his lips are pursed tightly together. The wind tugs fitfully about his trench coat and he seems to feel no cold at all on his shaved head. Two crew members in full NLR ring crew uniform pass close by and pay no heed to the ebony and ivory figure sitting on packing crates in a dark corner of the NLR parking lot.
Shadows move slowly around in the parking lot as shapes of men darting back and forth on important missions of NLR move across the parking lot between the production truck and the arena. Suddenly a young man, a boy almost appears from the NLR arena, he strolls slowly across the parking lot maybe just catching a little air. The ebony and Ivory figure of James Daniels lifts his head a little but he does not look directly at the small thin figure of the boy. The boyishly slim figure breaths in a few deep breaths, suddenly he seems to perk up looking around him as though he expects something to go wrong, it is much too silent.
In the half light of the moon a brilliant set of white teeth is partly revealed as a thin tight smile crosses the lips of “The Punisher” James Daniels, for the first time his cold blue eyes are seen in all there glory as a shaft of moonlight peaks through the clouds. They are cold, the eyes of a killer, eyes that promise nothing for his allies and immense pain for his enemies, this man is a born killer, a punisher. Suddenly a man of freakishly large proportions charges at the boy Farmer and he levelled with a huge back kick to the jaw lifting him a full two inches off of the ground. Farmer steadies himself but he is blindsided by a man with a baseball bat who hits him square across the shoulder blades, Farmer falls to his knees. Suddenly two more men appear and arms and legs flail as Farmer is beaten down by the boots, fists and baseball bats of the three still conscious attackers. James Daniels watches from the corner of his eye as the largest of the three attacker’s winds up and smashes a bat across the ribs of Corey Farmer. Farmer collapses to the ground with nothing more than a slight groan.
“The Punisher” eases himself down from his pedestal of packing crates and walks toward the carnage that is Farmer and his attackers. He walks with an elongated but measured step the covers the ground slowly but surely, this is the walk of a very confident and in control man, the walk of a champion, the mark of a very dangerous and cold individual. The men around Farmer continue to lay in with kicks and punches to the head until Farmer lays still and bloody on the tarmac. The man steal Farmers watch, wallet and shoes before picking up there fallen comrade and moving swiftly into the night.
James Daniels is now standing over the fallen Farmer who is slowly regaining consciousness, Farmer props himself up on an elbow and touches his profusely bleeding forehead with his hand, seeing his own blood he reaches out to grasp the trench coat of the Punisher with his bloody fist. The cold smile leaves Daniels face replaced quickly with a look of pure cold and undeniable anger as he looks at his blood streaked trench coat. Farmer begins to pull himself up on Daniels leg only to be met by a vicious slap across the face to send his head bouncing back down onto the tarmac. The anger leaves Daniels face immediately as he looks down at the fallen boy, he shakes his head slowly speaking in a rough gravely voice…
“He brought it on himself.”
And with that “The Punisher” turns with a theatrical twirl of his trench coat and walks off into the night leaving Farmer in a pool of his own blood.
JP: Welcome back. During the commercial break all of the superstars participating in the Bloodbath Match made their entrances and are now standing in the ring ready to square off...
Sully: And what an exciting match it will be. But with what has happened to night between Brett Cordova and Arran Hayden and Arran Hayden and Trenton Pierce, it’s hard to think that this match will find a way to surpass all of the surprises thus far.
JP: Who do you put your money on Sully?
Sully: I’m not really sure but I think I’ll go with Chris Griffin. He seems to be the only solid one in this match.
JP: Yeah right. You wish... Chris Griffin was beaten by Randy Kamon last week. I’m going to go with Mike Saint. He’ll continue to impress in the NLR after this match... This is just a step on his path to glory.
The Bell rings as the four superstars look at each other, undecided on whom to go after first. Suddenly Chris Griffin lunges for Mike Saint and takes him down with a clothesline. Craig Masters takes advantage of the distraction to the Impaler and runs and attempts to spear The Impaler. Impaler recognizes right before impact and moves out of the way making Masters hit the second turnbuckle with force… Meanwhile on the other side of the ring Griffin is pummeling Saint with lefts and rights as Saint tries desperately to roll over to get Griffin off. Griffin gets up and pulls Saint to his feet; he throws him towards the opposite set of ropes and bends down to throw him over and to the mat. Saint stops just short of Griffin. Griffin looks up and is leveled with a dropkick. Griffin hits the mat as Masters flies into the ring with a huge suplex from Impaler. Impaler looks towards the crowd and then back at Masters who jumps up with a desperation clothesline. He connects.
JP: So far The Impaler and Chris Griffin have been in control but with Masters connecting on a desperation clothesline and Mike Saint connecting with that thunderous dropkick the momentum may have changed.
Sully: It’s been a close one to call JP…. --- WOW! Did you just see that?
Back in the ring Masters has just executed the “Scorpion Slam” on The Impaler and is quick back to his feet soon thereafter. Masters begins to pull The Impaler back to his feet. He picks him up and puts him right back down with a huge suplex as Chris Griffin starts in on Saint. Griffin picks Saint up and puts him back in the corner with a flurry of punches. Once in the corner Griffin begins to lay on a series of chest slaps. He pulls him away from the corner and places his head between his side and arm in spear position. He drives him back into the corner. Saint drops to the mat holding his lower back as Griffin walks over to him and stomps on his lower back several times. The referee tells him to back off as Masters throws Impaler towards the opposite end of the ring; he bounces off and comes back to Masters who plants The Impaler with a huge Spinebuster slam.
JP: Well I was correct; the momentum has indeed changed and is now in the hands of Chris Griffin and Craig Masters.
Sully: I’ll give you that much. It’s been an exciting match so far. I’m just waiting for them to bring out the weapons.
JP: You would...
Craig Masters decides that the spinebuster won’t be enough to get the leverage on Impaler so he picks him up and walks him to the ropes. He picks him up in suplex and goes to drop him over the ropes to the outside. Impaler holds on and pulls Masters’ neck back onto the top rope in neckbreaker fashion. Masters crumbles to the ring on the inside as Impaler bounces off the side of the ring and smacks the mat with a sickening thud.
JP: MY GOD!!! DID YOU JUST SEE THAT?! AMAZING AWARENESS BY IMPALER!!
Sully: I’ll give you that one JP it was pretty damn amazing.
Both Masters and Impaler seem to be out for a while as the attention is shifted back towards Griffin and Saint. Griffin has Saint locked up... He attempts a snap suplex but Saint manages to get enough leverage to reverse the move and plant Griffin on his back. Saint rolls over and pushes his body to all fours. He stares at Griffin and stands up but stumbles backwards. He holds onto the ropes for a moment before Chris Griffin begins to get back to his feet. Saint runs at full speed towards Griffin and spears him through the ropes. Both fall through but Saint manages to keep a hold of the ropes so he doesn’t fall as Griffin lands on the hard concrete floor and rolls to the guardrail...
JP: DAMN!!! THESE GUYS ARE RUTHLESS. THEY’RE WILLING TO DO ANYTHING TO WIN!
Sully: That is the idea JP...
JP: Shut up Sully.
Saint climbs the top rope after gaining control and stands on the top turnbuckle taunting the crowd. He leaps off with the intent to land a Huge Leg-drop. He connects and just as soon as he does he rolls off of Griffin and rolls over grabbing his buttocks in pain. Meanwhile on the other side of the ring, Craig Masters rolls to his back and looks up at the ceiling trying to shake out the grogginess and return to the match. Impaler has already made it to his knees and is searching under the ring for a weapon. He pulls a 2x4 from underneath the ring and slides into the ring.
JP: The Impaler is looking to put Masters away. Who knows maybe this is his time.
Sully: Either way, neither of these two superstars was part of my pick for the winner.
The Impaler picks Masters up and tosses him towards the opposite ropes. He readies himself to unleash a thunderous shot with the 2x4. Masters ducks the swing of the 2x4 and bounces off of the opposite ropes. Impaler turns around and Master leaps landing the “Lights-Out”… Impaler hits the mat and the referee walks towards him. Blood is spilling from at least 3 cuts on the face of The Impaler. The 2x4 bounced back into Impaler’s face. The bell rings once.
Frazier: The Impaler is eliminated from this match-up!
JP: MY GOD! Three men left in this brutal match-up! That shot was too much for Impaler’s face to handle...
Sully: Yeah, he busted open quicker than your wife’s legs on freebie night.
JP looks at Sully obviously pissed off but focuses back on the match blowing off his comment. Masters sits back against the turnbuckle as Saint stands to his feet with the help of the guard rail and picks up Griffin. He rolls Griffin into the ring and looks underneath the ring for a weapon of his own. He pulls out a table and sets it up on the outside before going back underneath the ring. As he stands up, Masters bounces off of the rope opposite Saint and runs and slides under the bottom rope landing a dropkick on Saint. Saint falls backwards onto the table. Masters quickly gets up and runs to the turnbuckle. On the turnbuckle he sets up and leaps with an enormous Shooting Star Press... He lands it and both Masters and Saint fall through the table and onto the concrete floor in a heap.
JP: OH MY GOD!! STOP THE MATCH; THERE IS NO WAY THESE TWO WILL RECOVER FROM THAT!!
Sully: FOR ONCE I AGREE WITH YOU JP!!! THAT WAS ONE HELLUVA MOVE FROM CRAIG MASTERS!!!
On the inside Griffin begins to stir and looks to the outside at the carnage created beside the ring. He stumbles to the ropes to catch his balance and slides out of the ring. He grabs the bell from the time keeper’s table and walks over towards the carnage. He slides the bell in the ring and follows after it. He waits trying to recuperate before going right back after either of them. Craig Masters rolls off of the body of Saint and gets on all fours and gets off of the wreckage of the table. He stands to his feet and looks into the ring to see Griffin standing in the corner staring him down… Masters slides into the ring and tries to get to his feet as quickly as possible but is dropkicked back down to the mat as soon as he does. Griffin grabs Masters and throws him towards the opposite ropes. Masters comes back and is leveled with a clothesline. Saint begins to stir on the outside. He looks up towards the ring and rushes into it. Griffin picks up the bell in the corner of the ring and walks towards Masters but quickly takes notice to the presence of Saint in the ring. He runs at him but Saint ducks underneath his attempt to hit him with the bell. He bounces back and tries to hit saint yet again. Saint steps to the side and trips Griffin up, the bell falls out of Griffin’s arms and hits the mat. Griffin’s head bounces off of the bell and busts him open. The referee taps the bell once.
Frazier: Chris Griffin has been eliminated!
JP: It’s just Mike Saint and Craig Masters but Saint doesn’t realize that Masters is right behind him. This can’t be good.
Sully: That’s so cheap. Chris Griffin busted himself open, that shouldn’t count.
Mike saint turns around and runs into Masters who kicks him and gets him into position for the “Franchise Bomb”… He lifts him up and slams him down with a thunderous slam… Saint is out cold but Masters picks him back up and walks him to the corner where he strings him up in the ropes. He grabs the bell and walks to the opposite corner. He runs at Saint but Saint ducks quick enough to avoid the shot. Saint rolls off of the turnbuckle. Masters runs at him quickly but Saint falls to his back and kicks Masters back into the corner. Masters hits the turnbuckles and bounces off but runs back at Saint as quickly as he can. Saint stands up and ducks the oncoming shot. Masters turns around as Saint tries to deliver a kick to the gut.. He hits him and Masters drops the bell. Saint tries to DDT Masters onto the bell but Masters reverses it and picks Saint up and drops him face first onto the bell. Saint rolls over knocked cold. Blood trickles down the sides of his face from a small wound in the middle of his forehead. The referee calls the match.
Frazier: YOUR WINNER…. CRAAIIIIGGGG MASSSTTEERRSSS!!!!
JP: What a performance from these four superstars. But ultimately Craig Masters prevails..
Sully: Yeah because Chris Griffin was cheated.
JP: Say what you want Sully but all of these superstars gave each other one helluva run for their money. Damn good match...and up next, we have Jesus Jones taking on Bones McCoy in a Last Woman standing match...Now right now, the name of the match may not make sense...but once Jackie Frazier introduces the special guest referee...it will make a whole lot of sense!
Sully: You mean Sinn?? Sinn is reffing this match?
JP: Way to ruin the suprise for everyone, Sully...but yes...Sinn is reffing the match!
Frazier: Ladies and gentlemen the following is a Last Woman Standing Match! First let me introduce your special guest referee Sinnocence!
JP: Sinn with all eyes on her in this match. The question is how biased will she be?
Sully: How can you say such a thing. That is the best looking person to ever don a ref's outfit in this company and you already accuse her of not being fair. At least wait until the match starts.
VS
JP: After that cowardly assault on Bones last week how can she be impartial?
Frazier: First coming to the ring from Columbus, OH he is The Four Towers Champion David "Bones" McCoy!
Solsbury Hill by Peter Gabriel plays as Bones comes down to the ring amidst cheers. Keeping one eye on Sinnocence and one on the entrance ramp Bones awaits his opponent.
Frazier: And his opponent from Jamestown, MA "Jackass" Jesus Jones!
The lights dim in the arena as a lone flame burns in the middle of the stage. "Mother" begins to play and the flame grows a little. Suddenly as the singing kicks in the flame blows up in a huge pyro and when the pyro clears, smoke remains, and Jesus Jones is standing there With his hands clasped together in prayer. Suddenly a wisp of wind parts the smoke and Jesus begins his walk down to the isle as fans boo him loudly. He walks with his hands behind his back, with great determination, as he gets to ringside and then makes the sign of the cross with his left hand before hoping up on the ring apron and stepping into the ring. he walks over to the ropes and then makes the sign of the cross for the crowd before walking to his corner and disrobing for the match.
The bell rings and the two opponents square off. Exchanging punches the two don't notice Sinnocence not even paying attention to the match. Finally Jones gains the advantage and after hitting Bones with a series of forearms tosses him through the air with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Bones gets to his feet slowly as Jones stalks him. Jones goes for a kick to the gut but it is blocked and Bones hits him with a short arm clothesline. Jones rolls to his feet as the crowd cheers.
JP: This match back and forth so far.
Sully: Yes it is.
They lock up again and Bones scores a hip toss. Jones gets back up and charges again only to get caught in an armbar. Sinn is sitting there still not paying attention as she is checking out her nails. Jones gets up again but this time waits for Bones to come to him. They lock up and Jones hits Bones with a thumb to the eyes followed by a throat strike. Bones staggers back before being caught with a Fisherman Buster. Jones taunts Bones who is slow to rise. Jones picks him up and tosses him outside the ring as Sinnocence finally pays attention to the match. Jones quietly stalks his opponent only to get caught with an enziguri kick for his efforts.
JP: Bones hit J-3 hard as the crowd goes nuts. Bones grabs Jones and locks in an ankle lock on the outside.
Sure enough Jones is screaming in pain as he struggles against the submission move. Finally he manages to kick free. Struggling to get to his feet Jones sees Bones coming at him and uses a drop toe hold to cause Bones to smash his face against the steps. Staggering over Jones drives Bones face into the steps a few more times until everyone sees the blood dripping off the Marines face. Jones stops to trash talk Bones and this allows Bones to recover enough to hit an elbow followed by a DDT onto the floor. Jones rolls out of the way as Bones reaches under the ring and grabs a steel chair. Bones swings and connects with a sickening thud to the face of Jesus Jones. A second time Bones McCoy smashes the face of his opponent with the chair. Bones rolls Jesus Jones back in the ring and enters the ring himself.
Sully: Both men bleeding now and a bit worn. This one may not take long as that kind of blood loss will take anyone out.
Both men are up and Jones nails Bones with a Jawjacker. Sinn applauses as Jones calls for The Jackasser. The audience boos but thankfully Bones avoids it and shoves Jones back. Sinn starts to argue with him as Jones goes for a kendo stick. As Jones aims for the back of the soldier he sidesteps and Jones smashes across the face of Sinn. She staggers back as Jones turns only to be kicked in the gut by Bones. Bones grabs the kendo stick and smashes it in two over the back of Jones knocking him down to the floor. Quickly climbing up Bones nails a flying elbow straight into the heart of Jones. Sinn recovers from her face shot and watches as Bones hooks in the Warp Driver. With the last of his strength Bones nails it perfectly driving Jones bleeding head into the mat. Jones is laying motionless in the middle of the ring as Bones leans against the ropes for support.
JP: An amazing series of moves from the Four Towers Champion.
Sully: And Sinn is making the count.
Sinn stands there counting as the audience follows along. Reaching ten she calls for the bell.
Frazier: Ladies and gentlemen your winner Bones McCoy!
As McCoy goes to leave the ring Sinnocence gets a wicked look in her eyes. Sneaking up on him she locks on the Iron Maiden. McCoy struggles but with his head wound he can't summon the strength to power out of it. Finally he passes out and Sinn lets go smiling at the two unconscious men as the audience boos.
JP: Well it was called a Last WOMAN Standing Match.
Sully: True and the first woman on the NLR Sinnocence is the one standing! Fantastic match...and it's even better with Sinn at the end!
JP: And now...we go to Jason Collins backstage for an exclusive interview with J. McGuire on that mysterious red limousine!
[The scene opens up backstage where NLR Owner Joyce McGuire is seen walking backstage walking. She carries a clipboard, and as she reaches her office door NLR Interviewer Jason Collins stops her.]
Jason Collins - Ms. McGuire, I don't mean to press you about this issue, but the fans and the roster want to know what's going on.
Joyce McGuire - Shouldn't you be watching the limo?
Jason Collins - We've got a camera there, but since you see how important this is to me and the people who support NLR, we need to know: who is in the limo and why are they here?
Joyce McGuire - All that information will come with time.
Jason Collins - Are they the new owner?
[She stops and looks at him with a confused look on her face.]
Joyce McGuire - What kind of question is that?
Jason Collins - Its obvious that we're trying to build, and with your experience, many have been questioning your credibility.
[She grabs him by the shirt collar and pushes him into the wall.]
Joyce McGuire - My credibility? Who the hell do you think you are?! I am the owner of this company and I have vowed to make this place better. If you want to question my credibility, then you should also be prepared to question your career choices, because that kind of attitude will get you fired quicker then you think. So, why don't you go back to watching the limo, and learn to keep your mouth shut when talking to the people who write your checks.
[She lets him go and walks into her office, slamming the door behind her. He doesn't look at the camera, but just shakes his head and stares at the door. The feed changes back to ringside...JP and Sully sit in utter anticipation for the main event of the night.]
JP: And up next, we have the main event for the night! An Elimination Chamber match for the Legacy Championship!
Sully: And we'll get to it...right after we take a short break...
Back to part one...
On to part three...
