Titanic

My favorite historical ship tragity is Titanic. I like this story because it’s amazing how such a massive object can be damaged by an iceberg. In 1912, the White Star Line, a famous ship-building company of the time, was ordered to make two of the world largest, most luxiorious ships ever made by the hand of man. One of the ships, Titanic, had its maiden voyage on April 10, 1912. The first stop was in Egland and then Ierland was the last stop. On the fourth night of the voyage, an iceberg aappeared in Titanic’s path. The crew tried to port round it but hit on the bottom. It broke in half because of the tremendus water pressure on the stern. It sunk in the North Atlantic at 2:20 A.M. on April 15th, 1912. The people in the lifeboats were rescued by the Carpathia, another ship. They brought them to New York and when they got there, they were swamped by the press. Now, many movies, books, and other merchandise from the disaster.
