It�s like I can see into the future and predict my problems
And even though I think about it, when they come, I can�t solve them
Try as I might, to fight, each night
They come barking back with even bigger bite
I try to fend them off with courage and maybe some valor
But feelings afterward just leave me feeling like a coward
Thoughts of lost love, sometimes of that kiss
Which started this all, that is what I miss
I�ve seen too many people hold on but let go
I live in rewind, tryna press fast forward
When I think things is aight, and I�m living in play
I�m really just paused, saving up for another day
It�s nice to hear people talking about their pasts
Cuz I don�t really have one, well not one full of laughs
That�s why what happened before is very important to me
I just wish I could show everyone how everything should be
