"Marie's Vision."

This episode will air on November 25th and it is the Thanksgiving episode (although it doesn't really revolve around Thanksgiving.)

This Spoiler was provided by Yvette. Everything written is hers. Yay for Yvette!

The teaser starts with everyone coming in the door at Marie and Franks. They have just gone out to dinner and Robert is saying what a great dinner that had, and that it was nice to go out all together. Frank makes a comment about how it was no big deal and it would have been nicer if Robert had picked up the check. Marie says something about how excited she is for Thanksgiving and that she is even happier that Amy is going to be joining them.
(Yes, everyone, Amy is back! Yay!) Debra asks Marie what time it is and Marie walks across the room until she is standing right in front of the clock. It is obvious that she is straining her eyes and can't really make out what time it is so after stumbling for a minute she quickly says "Its...time for desert." and walks into the kitchen. Debra makes a comment about how it is worse than she thought, and Frank asks what she is talking about. Robert says that its obvious Marie is having a hard time seeing and probably needs glasses. Ray says that it was pretty obvious when she walked into the men's bathroom at the restaurant. Debra says that they need to tell her and Robert, Ray and Frank all make sounds like "Oh God, no." Debra says that Frank should tell her and Frank says, "The last time I told her something it came back and bit me in the ass." Ray says, "What was that?" and Frank says "Marry me." (In another take Frank says the same line about how it bit him in the ass and when Ray asks what, Frank says, "She bit me in the ass." It was hilarious!! I doubt they will use that take though).

The next scene takes place right where we left off. Marie comes back into the living room and says that she made tiramisu. Ray is very excited as he gets a piece and as they are all sitting down. Debra says "Marie, can I ask you something?" Before she can continue Ray says "Can I ask you something (to Debra) why don't you have any tiramisu in your mouth?!" Debra ignores his comment and proceeds to tell Marie that she thinks she should go see the optometrist. Marie says that there is no reason to, she has no problem seeing. Debra then asks the boys if they agree and we see Robert and Ray shoving their desert in their mouths so that they don't have to answer. Marie asks Frank and Frank just sits in his chair completely still ignoring the comment. Marie asks why he isn't answering her and he says "I was hoping you couldn't see me." Debra says "What about tonight when you walked into the Men's bathroom." Marie asks how she knew that and she says that Ray was in there. Marie looks at Ray and Ray has kind of an awkward look on his face and says, "Not that it wasn't great to see you." Marie talks about how confusing the signs were on the bathrooms and that it wasn't her fault. Marie again says that she doesn't need glasses and Debra says fine and gives up. She picks up her desert plate and she comments that her fork is dirty. Marie says, "That's not possible, I washed it myself." Marie takes the fork from Debra, realizes that the fork is dirty, gets a really sad face and says, "It is dirty." and quietly walks into the kitchen. The four of them are left in the living room and I think Robert says that he feels bad now. Then Frank says "Debra, You can use my fork."
(as he held it up for her) Debra says no thank you and then Frank says, "Well then I guess you won't be needing your tiramisu!" (He makes a gesture for her to put her desert on his plate. In another take after Robert says that he feels bad, Frank, in a very sly voice says "lets hide." There was also another take where he said something else, but for the life of me I cant remember what it was.)

The next scene takes place in Debra and Rays living room. Ray is sitting on the couch glued to the TV and Debra walks in holding these big wooden platter things. Its obvious she is struggling to hold them but of course Ray doesn't notice. When Debra makes a comment about him not helping her carry them, Ray says, "Well I knew you could handle it because your my little hot muscle mama."
(or some little nickname like that). Next Marie walks in and says, "I want to show you guys something." She takes out these big, round, thick, black glasses and puts them on. Debra is all excited that she went and took care of the problem and then Ray says something like, "I didn't know hoola-hoop made glasses" (He says something different in another take but I don't remember). Ray asks what Frank thought about them and Marie says that he didn't say anything and that "He would notice something new on me unless it was made of sausage." It was soooo funny! Marie is very happy and tells them that its wonderful and its like she is seeing the world for the first time again. Debra goes to hug her and says that she is so happy that she got glasses. Marie says "And now I can see things so much better, like down there by the TV, I can see the beginnings of a spider web." Then Marie takes a little eyelash off Debra's shirt and says, "Oh, Debra, I always thought your eyelashes were so much fuller." Debra says something like what do you mean, and she goes to touch her eye. Marie stops her and says, "Oh don't touch them or you'll lose the few that you have left." Marie says that she better be going and goes to hug Ray. Then she stops and says, "I like this gray hair that you letting grow around the sides, its very distinguished." Ray is shocked and looks upset at the thought that he could have gray hair. Marie thanks them both again for pushing her to get glasses and then leaves. Debra immediately picks up a little compact mirror and starts examining her eyes. Ray then stands up on the couch behind her and tries to look to see if he really is getting gray hair.

The next scene is just a quick little one in Ray's bedroom. He is standing in front of the mirror examining his hair. He then goes to the closet, takes out a little box, and pulls out a bottle of shoe polish. He obviously has an idea.

Next we see Ray coming down the stairs with these very obvious black sideburns. Soon after Debra comes in wearing a pretty brown dress and the most eye makeup she has ever had on in her life! She looks at Ray and asks what he did to his hair. He says "What, doesn't it look natural?" Debra says "No, it does....ELVIS." Then Ray says, "What about you, what did you do to your eyes?" Debra tries to play it off and says it just because its a holiday and she wanted to do something special. Ray says "So what are you, the Thanksgiving hooker?" Now Robert and Amy enter. It is obvious that something is wrong with Roberts face and he is speaking very strangely, not moving his lips at all. Ray asks what the hell is wrong with him and Amy says that he had a little "procedure." Debra says "Oh my God, Robert, did you get those anti-wrinkle injections!!?" Robert admits that he had some wrinkles and mentions that Marie pointed them out. Ray and Debra are totally surprised that he would go an do this.
(Throughout this scene, Brad Garrett is hilarious!!) Ray keeps making fun of Robert and then Robert notices Ray's sideburns and Debra's eyes and starts making fun of them. Then Amy says "Wow, Marie is really noticing things. What is she gonna say about this? (she does this thing where she pulls this like extra flap of skin from her chin out)." Now Marie and Frank come in and everyone is hugging and when Marie asks Robert what is wrong with his face Ray tells her what he did. Marie is shocked and asks why he would do that. Robert tells her he did it because of what she said. Marie goes over to Ray and says something about him looking handsome, she touches his face and then looks at her hands because obviously some of the polish has rubbed off on her. She asks what he did and he tries to deny it. Marie says she cant believe that everyone took what she says so seriously. Then we cut to Debra and she is furiously rubbing her eyes to take off some of the makeup before Marie can see. Marie says "Debra.." And Debra turns around and has dark eye make up all over her face. When Marie asks what she did Debra tells her, "Well, you said that my eyelashes weren't full." Marie tells Debra that she loves her eyes and that it means so much to her that everyone cared about what she said. Frank makes a comment about how they did it because its easier to just do what Marie says instead of having to listen to her nag. Marie gets really upset and starts yelling at him and saying that she is sick of how he never pays any attention to her. Frank says something about how she should just leave then. She says that she is tired of their "loveless marriage" and frank gets really upset about this. He starts screaming "Loveless mariage..loveless marriage!!?!!" He storms out and a minute later so does Marie. Amy, Ray, Robert, and Debra stand there in silence for a minute and then Robert says in his funny voice, without moving his lips, "So no one thinks I look younger?"

The next scene is in Marie and Frank's kitchen. Frank is sitting at the table eating bread when Marie comes in. She sits down and tries to talk to him but he doesn't want to talk. Marie says that the comment about the loveless marriage obviously bothered him. He kind of ignored the comment then Marie says "You do love me!!" Frank doesn't respond and instead says he wants a sandwich. Marie is all excited and happy and starts taking stuff out of the fridge. All of a sudden she says "Frank, what are we doing, its Thanksgiving! Everyone is over there, Debra made all that food." Frank and Marie exchange looks
(about Debra's food) and Marie says "your right, we'll eat first."

The final tag is in Ray and Debra's bedroom. Ray is in bed and Debra comes in and asks him to be honest, does he like her eyes without all that makeup. Ray quickly says of course, you have beautiful eyes. Debra says "OK I am gonna ask you again, and I want you to keep in mind that I am way toi tired to have sex." Ray again says how beautiful her eyes are and Debra says, "Seriously Ray, its not gonna happen." Ray tries to look like he is upset about how she would think that, and he goes on and on about how Debra is beautiful and he thinks that even if he isn't gonna have sex. At this point Debra is already lying down and she says "Still tryin?" Ray says, "YES" and tries to get close to her. When Debra doesn't respond Ray says "Come on!!!!"

Well, that's it. Not too many outakes this time but still a lot of fun. It was great with Amy back. Monica Horan (Rosenthal) was really sweet and talked to the audience a couple of times about what its like to work with her husband and how one time he actually made her cry on the set because she wasn't getting her lines right and he yelled at her. She said it in a really sweet way and assured everyone that Phil really is a sweet guy.

OK well I hope you all enjoyed the recap. Thanx for reading it!!
