Phone calls will be strictly limited when students forget homework, library books, band instruments, etc.  This will help them learn responsibility.  Also, with only one phone line, the school phone must be available for important incoming calls.  Permission for a student to make a phone call will be at the discretion of the teacher.  STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE CLASS TO USE THE PHONE EXCEPT IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY.
