Bus Rules

"DON'T LOSE YOUR RIDING PRIVILEGE"

Follow These Rules

1.  Observe same conduct as in classroom.
2.  No "horseplay" will be permitted.
3.  Do not push when entering or exiting the bus.
4.  Be courteous, use no profane language.
5.  Do not eat or drink on bus, this includes gum.
6.  Keep the bus clean and tidy.
7.  Cooperate with the driver, she/he is in charge of the pupils.
8.  Do not smoke.
9.  Do not be destructive.  Any damage to a bus by a student must be paid for by the student responsible.
10. Stay in your seat.  Do not move about while the bus is in route.
11. Keep head, hands, and feet inside the bus.
12. Bus driver is authorized to assign seats.
 

    NOTE:  Failure to follow these regulations may result in suspension from the school bus!

Any offense committed by a student on a district-owned or contracted bus shall be punished in the same manner as if the offense had committed at the student's assigned school.

Misconduct will be treated the same as school building misconduct.

CONSEQUENCES:

A.  All infractions will be reported to Principal.
B.  Student will be warned, assigned seats may be enforced.
C.  Second violation - parent notified.
D.  The third violation will be cause for immediate suspension from the bus:
        1st offense will be 3 day suspension.
        2nd offense will be 5 day suspension.
        3rd offense will result in a meeting with the school board.
