9.10.98 -- This shot is of our room at the Best Western. How was it? Lets just say I have had reoccuring nightmares of the room and suffered from clausterphobia (hell I know thats not how you spell it, would anyone like to send me a dictionary?) The photo shows the WHOLE room. I certainly DID NOT get what I paid for. We were on the second floor and had a great view of the street, like the limosine driver picking his nose and wiping it the limos door handle. We had the classic A/C blarring out it loud mechanical imperfections, keeping us up at night.

The bathroom towels were of low grade, so much so, that we didn't even bother stealing them (we stole 2 hand towels and 1 bath towel at the Marquis....hehe...shhh!). The complimentary shower cap looked used and the ratted box which contained it also looked recycled.

While I walked in.....I was literally repulsed! I missed the Marquis. Too bad it was booked for the weekend.

Later that night.....

Folks. I am putting a gun to your head and making watch this show. This show blew me away. WHY THE FUCK DID IT NOT WIN THE TONY????Lookie Lookie here. It's the STOKESMEISTER. I do a great mimic of his dance during "Getting Ready Rag". WATCH THIS SHOW PEOPLE. Watch it before the OBC leaves because the compilation of performers is unique and tremendously PERFECT. I'm just upset that "TATEH" ran away from me before I could get his autograph. And I didn't get a picture with "MOTHER'S YOUNGER BROTHER".....pant...pant. Can I be the first to become a Steven Sutcliffe obsessive? I think the STOKESMEISTER obesessive positions are filled.

Audrey (Sara) has a beautiful smile. Can a female be in love with another females smile even though she's as staight as a pencil?

I'd like to live this particular night over and over again.

9.11.98 -- We bought scalper tickets for THE LION KING. Recycled from the movie, but Julie Taymor deserves her Tony(s) for this show. But for Best Musical???? RAGTIME GOT RIPPED. The Boy and I also watched MISS SAIGON in the evening. I absolutely HATE Matt Bogart's performance. You figure after a year he'd improve somewhat. I was begging for an understudy. Alas, the Boy's first impression of MISS SAIGON was not a good one. The Sis' on and off again boyfriend and younger brother, walked over from THE AUTHORITY to hang out at our hotel room. They took the long Greyhound ride from Boston only to find out they had nowhere to stay because their uncle was on vacation. So my cousin offered to take them in. ERIC and his brother ABE are both music prodigies. ABE is only 14 and he performed for the boy and I last year.....HE HAS GOT THE SHIT! Surprize surprize he's was in Boston with Eric because he got a summer scholarship to Berklee(the music school). Eric is moving to NY to start his internship at ATLANTIC (or was it Sony?) as a Music Management major, also from Berklee. This (me) guitar playing flunkie is embarrassed to be in these music wonders prescence. The sis is one lucky girl.

9.12.98 -- The cousin rented me a car and the kids, the cousin, the OTHER cousin, the sis, the boy, Eric, Abe and myself drove to Jersey. For what? What else? A GREAT ADVENTURE! I had some fun. The eldest "kid" (13) had a chance to hang out us mature adults instead of her 7 year old sister and 4 year old brother. It was great. Although, I recomend NOT encouraging your sister to do the BATMAN ride so you can live in her shoes. She puked her guts out. Glad it wasn't me....hehe. I was the "bag watcher".

9.13.98 -- We had so much fun in Jersey, we decided to go to Pensylvania for SESAME PLACE. Water rides galore. This time it was just the boy, the sis, Eric, Abe and I. We actually had to sneak out of the house so the kids wouldn't know that we were ditching them. Yes, we're evil.

The lines weren't as long as Great Adventure. And you go here for one purpose only.....to get WET.

Hey its almost over!
