for Thursday March 26,1998.

I actually got someone to buy my RAGTIME tickets for June. Thanks Marriane if you're reading. She got a deal. I had originally lowered the price to $130 for both, but she offered me $125. Desperate, I accepted it and supposedly the "check is in the mail". Now I got the Phantom tickets left to get rid off. So if you're interested go here.

Ticketmaster screwed up again. Before RENT tickets for June went on sale, I checked TICKETMASTER online daily hoping the next block of tickets would go on sale. I normally don't trust purchasing tickets online but for some reason the telephone operators said their computers weren't selling them yet when the website said they were. Really wanting to get good seats I decided I would dare and purchase them online. Wouldn't you know the order did not go through......or so I thought. It said "your order is not guaranteed until you get a confirmation number". I submitted the order...not once but twice. Each time the server never came up with the confirmation number page. It would just try to load the page with no success. Then it said "sorry order was not recived please try again", or something to that effect...I don't remember. So I assumed my order was not recieved. So I called the next day, and the operator said yes indeed they were selling the next block of tickets. Fourth row center is is VERY good when you consider they reserve the first two rows for the lottery held for that day. So when you think about it I got second row center. Anyway....I got them in the mail yesterday. I got two envelopes. One for the tickets I ordered through the phone and another pair from the online order I thought never went through. I was pissed! What the hell was I going to do with the two pairs of RENT tickets for the same day? I mean did they think my ass was too big for just one seat? So of course I called to complain....after 20 minutes of busy signals, some 4 dial up menus, and being put on hold for 5 minutes, I actually got through to customer service. The woman was rather pleasant and told me to just send the tickets back with a letter expressing the dilema and they will fully refund me. Well they sure as hell better refund me!

I am having a rather relaxing Spring Break. Surprizingly the boss at the Club gave me Monday and Tuesday off even though the slavedriver knew it was Spring Break and I had no classes. Whoo Whoo. I am begining to fear I may spend the rest of my working life there because Publishers Clearinghouse still hasn't called.

On the more depressing side of things....my older dog had a miscarriage. Actually we don't know for sure. It's possible that the baby came out healthy but my cannabalistic dog ate its young. It's sick but all we found in the laundry basket (which was to be her nursery) was the head of a pup. Just the head...nothing else. It's like the thing was just decapitated and body was disposed of. We took Lyka(my dog) to the vet (who is Korean and if it wasn't for the nurse reiterating what he said, I would not be able to understand a word he says) who said there was nothing left in here but the placenta that needed to come out. Whatever happened to her young will reamain a mystery. But the weirdest thing about it....she has adopted 2 small stuffed animals as her children. I swear! She grooms them and tries to make them suckle. And when we get near them she growls like she's protecting them.....weird. Poor Lyka. She must got some serious mental problems......but I love her with all my heart, so I really don't know what to think about the whole situation.

Last week I found a really cool website. If you're a vouyer, like I am, I like to pry into peoples personal lives. And it helps when they plaster it all over the web for the whole creation to see. This site is called LAURA'S NYC TALES. She's got a whole bunch of stories taken from here life in NYC (which I am rather envious of) and a bunch of photos from her journeys. It's going to go permanently in my links page. Her site gives me an idea about making "photo essays". It could spice up my site a bit more. Lately, I have also been frequenting REBEKAH's page (a "former" NYLQ) who had become quite a character in the AOL RENT family. Her attraction to Gay guys humors me...probably because most of us women can relate. She also has a famous RENT FAQ for my fellow RENTHEADS.

Wow....I've actually rambled more than I thought I would. Three more months till I'm back in NYC.
