UGA Xtreme TV: War Games! The Final Show before "BRING IT ON" Live! Thursday Night, August 16-01 Madison Square Garden, NYC Show Report Part One VIDEO RECAP The show opened up with a video recap of last week's events to the tune of "Last Resort" by Papa Roach. The video showed many highlights involving the Ultimate Quest tournament and the video montage concluded with a preview of tonight's show, featuring War Games as the main event. The show then cut live to MSG where thousands of fans were on their feet yelling and cheering as pyro exploded throughout the arena. The camera panned the crowd showing many signs and fans wearing UGA merchandise before the camera panned down to ringside with Jesse Rhodes and Derek Stallion. The two men previewed the show before Ace Fireside, Rick Frost and the Beast made their way out to the ring. The crowd boo'ed as the three men walked to the ring and entered to open up the show. Ace Fireside took the mic. FIGHT CLUB IN-RING PROMO Ace began by saying that last week, he and Rick Frost won the Ultimate Quest competition, defeating five of the toughest teams and ten of the biggest names in professional wrestling. "But still, even after that, we get no respect." The crowd boo'ed the men as Ace demanded respect from the crowd and said that after this Sunday, each and every fan would be forced to give them the respect that they deserve. "Chainsaw Charlie, Larry Gionet, Street Punk, Frat Boy, THP, Shane Russell, Revelation, Grendel, the list goes on and on of the men we defeated last week." Ace gave the mic to Rick who continued by saying that it will continue tonight and at UGA "Bring It On!" Rick then said tonight, in the Best Two of Three matches, the three of them will face Grendel, Revelation and "the big bad scary Bryan Sinister." With that, "Sober" by Tool began to blast and the three men they mentioned walked out at the top of the ramp. The crowd errupted as they stood at the ramp and stared down the Fight Club who stood in the ring. Bryan Sinister took the mic. Sinister told the three men that tonight would be a preview of what's going to happen at Bring It On and the three men have that part right, "...but the only problem is, it's going to be a preview of the three of us kicking your asses!" The crowd errupted as Ace, Frost and Beast were irate in the ring. Sinister, Grendel and Revelation mocked the three men and said that they could go right here. Ace, Frost and Beast called them to the ring and the three men hit the ring. The crowd errupted as all six men brawled and Grendel, Revelation and Sinister cleared the ring. An irate Ace Fireside took the mic at ringside and challenged the three men to make each match tonight a stipulation match! The three men agreed and the show cut to the backstage area with Storm Richards. STORM RICHARDS BACKSTAGE In the back, Storm was sitting at his desk and began to mention the speculation over what happened to the UGA Championship title belt. He said that it is his goal to find out where the championship is TONIGHT so that the title will be ready for the ladder match at UGA Bring It On! The show cut to break. -Commercial- The show returned with "Mr. Speed" by Kiss playing. The announcers as well as the crowd looked rather stunned as "Frat Boy" Perry Tanhammer made his way out in the old ice cream truck. The crowd and announcers were shocked as Frat Boy walked out of the truck and entered the ring. Frat Boy entered the ring and asked the mic. "I'm sick and tired of the speculation. I just saw a few moments ago Storm Richards talking about finding the title belt. Well, I said it once and I'll say it again. I had nothing to do with the UGA Championship belt missing." He then continued by saying he understands that he's the most logical choice but "...why should I steal the title when everyone knows that I'm going to win it at the pay-per-view? Because think about it, last time I had the ice cream truck with me, I won the title. So that means I'm going to win the title, because look.." as Frat Boy pointed to his truck, "...there's my ice cream truck." With that, "King Nothing" began to blast and the crowd went nuts as THP made his way out on the top of the rampway. THP with mic in hand told Frat Boy to shut the hell up, to a huge pop from the crowd. THP then told Frat Boy that he's doing nothing but using the speculation over the title to draw attention to himself, so that he can continue to do absolutely nothing but yet still main event forever and ever. THP continued by telling Frat Boy that he's sick and tired of him and after what he did last week when working with the new Sex and Violence to set him up and beat him down, he's got a score to settle with Frat Boy. THP then went on to say that "Frat Boy, I want you tonight!" The crowd went nuts as Frat Boy responded by telling THP: "But I can't wrestle tonight, I"m already in the main event." THP laughed as yelled back, "SO AM I BITCH!" The crowd went nuts as Frat Boy stood in the ring and the ECW stylish MSG crowd yelled "Pussy" at Frat Boy. Eventually, after a few moments of trying to calm the crowd down, Frat Boy gave in and accepted THP's offer for the match. THP smiled as Storm Richards came on the video wall. Storm was laughing and said from his office, "Ya know boys, since you two just decided to have an important matchup here tonight, how about me add a little stipulation. Now you know Perry, you've been kinda disappointing me and everyone else here lately. You haven't been working that hard. So how about we do this. If you don't beat THP tonight here in Madison Square Graden (cheap pop), then you're forced to win the UGA Championship at "Bring It On!" Frat Boy looked kinda confused and asked Storm what he meant. Storm laughed as did THP still on the top of the rampway. He continued by saying, "Well, you see..what I mean is that you'll be forced to win the UGA Title in the 4 Way Ladder match because if you don't win the UGA Championship in that match, NOT ONLY will you become my personal assistant while I'm the Interim President but you will be demoted to dark matches and opening match mid-card status at all UGA shows." The crowd laughed and cheered as Frat Boy threw a huge fit in the ring. "You can't do that!," he yelled but Storm quickly responded, "Oh yeah I can." The video wall went dead and THP laughed from the rampway. "I'll seeya tonight old buddy! You better hope you can win this match or else, you're shit out of luck!" The crowd cheered as "King Nothing" blasted and the show cut to break. -Commercial- Part Two is Next Part Two The show returned with Mark Blaze walking out from the crowd and entering the ring. Blaze took the mic and said that tonight, he shows the UGA why he is one of the greatest talents to ever be in the wrestling business and that a man by the name of Psycho Man will learn a lesson and at the same time, quickly have his career ended. "It's my debut and it's your debut Psycho Man. So get your ass out here and I'll show you while I'm "Excellent" Mark Blaze." "Survival of the Fit" by Mobb Deep began to play and Psycho Man walked out and began walking down the aisle, with his chair that he likes to refer to as "Dangerous" Darry Davidson. Psycho entered the ring and took the mic from Blaze and whispered with the mic into his ear. "Are you really excellent?" Blaze nodded and smiled and Psycho Man blasted him over the head with the chair. The crowd went nuts as the bell rang and the match began. PSYCHO MAN vs. MARK BLAZE -Psycho Man began to attack Blaze with the chair from the start but the referee ordered Psycho Man to stop using the chair. Psycho Man couldn't seem to understand why he couldn't use the chair but eventually the referee got the chair away from Psycho Man and threw it out of the ring. During the match, Psycho Man never looked back and wrestled Blaze techincally to the ground a lot. Psycho Man also hit Blaze with a lot of high risk manuevers. Four minutes in, Psycho Man hit a top rope dropkick and followed it up with a DDT dropping Blaze down to the mat. Psycho Man then applied the Sharpshooter and Blaze quickly tapped out and submitted, giving Psycho Man the victory. "Survival of the Fit" by Mobb Depp began to play but Edward Sprinkle ran out from the back and attacked Psycho Man. The two men began to brawl, previewing their match at "Bring It On!" and made their way to the back. (WINNER: PSYCHO MAN via Pinfall at 4:06). As Mark Blaze recovered in the ring, Storm Richards appeared on the video wall. Storm was seen laughing. "You know, I kinda like this Interim President position. But Mark Blaze...I gotta tell ya..." Storm said as Blaze recovered and looked up at Storm on the video wall. Storm continued, "...you absolutely suck!" The crowd went nuts as Blaze looked shocked in the ring. Storm went on saying, "So I tell ya what you can do. How about you leave the ring the same way you came in. Through the crowd with your head between your ass, and take your cocky attitude with you because you're anything but excellent. Don't let the door hit you on the way out, and more importantly, don't you ever show your ass in the UGA again!" The crowd cut to a video. THE NEW SEX & VIOLENCE - SPECIAL LOOK AT ADAM MITCHELL A video then played of "The Franchise' Adam Mitchell, one third of the New Sex and Violence. Mitchell in the video proved why he is "the man" and talked about being undefeated and being the best the UGA has to offer. As he spoke, we saw clips of many of his matches and at the end of the video, Miss Christine walked in. Mitchell laughed and ended the video by saying, "Shane Stud, not only are we the New Sex and Violence and I'm the new Franchise, but I'm also the new man of your former valet and girlfriend, Miss Christine!" The show cut to break. -Commercial- The show returned with "Moments Ago" showing Mark Blaze being fired in his debut. The announcers acted surprised by it yet still laughed at Storm Richards move. The announcers then acted totally shocked that "The Franchise" Adam Mitchell would go to the next level by bringing in Shane Stud's former valet and girlfriend Miss Christine. With that, the show cut back to the ring with Edward Sprinkle and Damien already in the ring. The bell rang and the match began. EDWARD SPRINKLE vs. DAMIEN -Sprinkle took the mic after the bell rrang and gave Damien the opportunity to leave the ring and lose by forfeit. Damien laughed but Sprinkle told him he was serious. Damien walked as though he was going to leave the ring but turned and attacked Sprinkle to a big pop. The match was on as Damien worked over Sprinkle during the first few moments of the match. Former WWC wrestler Tom Stephenson made his way out from the back and watched the match from the aisle which shocked the announcers. Five minutes into the match, Edward Sprinkle hit his spinning DDT combination to get the pin on Damien. (WINNER: EDWARD SPRINKLE via Pinfall at 5:17). After the match, Tom Stephenson hit the ring and stared at Sprinkle but the two men turned and began to beat up Damien. Psycho Man ran back out to the ring to a huge pop from the crowd and blasted both men with his chair, "Dangerous" Darry Davidson. The show cut backstage to Hia Tao. HIA TAO INTERVIEW In the back, Hia Tao said that last week, he had a little help from Dave "The Dominator" Morrison in beating Sean Docaine and that this week, he knows that he can beat him one on one with no help. "And that's what I'm about to do!," Tao said as the show cut to break. -Commercial- HIA TAO vs. SEAN "SUGAR DADDY" DOCAINE -The show returned and Sean Docaine madde his way out to the ring. Docaine entered the ring and laughed, asking the crowd if he just saw what he thought he saw and asking Tao if he really thinks he can beat Docaine in two consecutive matches. With that, Tao came flying out from the back and ran to the ring! Docaine attacked him as he entered the ring and the bell rang for the start of the match. The two men battled back and forth in five minutes in, Docaine used a pair of brass knucks to knock out and bust open Tao. Docaine then scored the pin to get the win. (WINNER: SEAN DOCAINE via Pinfall in 3:49). After the match, Docaine stood over Tao in the ring. Dave "The Dominator" Morrison walked out from the back to a huge pop from the crowd and stormed towards the ring. Docaine mistook the crowd's applause for him and did not realize that Morrison was making his way out to the ring. Morrison entered the ring and turned Docaine around. Docaine turned around and Morrison punched him in the face. The crowd went nuts as Morrison then picked up Docaine and press slammed him over the top rope and to the floor. Morrison then took the microphone as Docaine tried to recover on the outside. Morrison began by saying "'Stylin' Joey Shannon, your nothing more than a bullshit opponent, so get your ass out here!" The crowd popped as Morrison called for Shannon and he made his way out to the ring. As Joey Shannon made his way out to the ring, the scene cut to a split screen to where Jon Massey, the founder and owner of the UGA and WWC was outside of the arena arriving. Massey began to walk into the arena as the announcers mentioned that he has arrived. The screen then came back into one as Shannon entered the ring. DAVE MORRISON vs. "STYLIN" JOEY SHANNON Shannon entered and got right into the face of Morrison. Morrison turned his head and then turned back and pushed Joey's face with his hand, knocking him roughly to the mat. The crowd cheered as Shannon tried to back off of Morrison but "The Dominator" kicked him while he was down. Morrison then stood there and mocked Shannon who came up and charged at him. Morrison grabbed Shannon as he charged at him and locked him in a front headlock. Shannon tried to budge but couldn't escape the hold and Morrison picked him up and dropped him down with a front face suplex. Morrison then continued to beat on and destroy Shannon before standing him up and nailing him with "The Dominator" Superkick to get the pin in under two minutes. Shannon laid motionless in the ring and did not move as EMTS quickly arrived to check on him. Morrison began to head to the back as Sean Docaine tried to sneak back out. Docaine bumped into Morrison who looked up and saw him and Docaine had second thoughts and took off and ran to the back. Morrison smiled as he walked behind him following him to the backstage area. (WINNER DAVE MORRISON via PINFALL at 1:46). THE NEW SEX & VIOLENCE - A SPECIAL LOOK AT JACK HUNTER -The scene cut to a video package, muchh like Adam Mitchell's earlier. This time the package involved "The Unpredictable" Jack Hunter. Hunter was cocky in his comments as the package showed highlights of his career, including old highlights from his WWC tenure. In the end, Jack Hunter threated THP for "Bring It On" and said that he and "The New Franchise" would put THP out of wrestling once and for all. The show cut to break. -Commercial- Part Three is Next Part Three The show returned with "King Nothing" blasting. The Hottest Prospect made his way out from the back as the crowd went nuts. "Mr. Speed" by Kiss began to play and Frat Boy Perry Tanhammer made his way to the ring in the ice cream truck. It was now time for our mid-show main event match. The announcers mentioned that this match was just signed earlier in the show and that both men will be a part of War Games later to come tonight. FRAT BOY vs. THE HOTTEST PROSPECT -The match began and the two men began to brawl immediately. The first five minutes of the match, both men poured to the outside of the ring and brawled at ringside. After a few moments, they made it back into the ring and both went back and forth with each other. THP dominated Frat Boy with power moves but Frat Boy kept working the big man down. More than ten minutes into the match, THP and Frat Boy made their way outside of the ring again. They eventually began to brawl and work their way up onto the top of the ice cream truck. THP began to beat down Frat Boy on the ice cream truck and called for the powerbomb! The crowd went nuts but all of a sudden, Adam Mitchell, Jack Hunter and Chad Yaro busted out from the back of the ice cream truck! The three men then began to climb the ice cream truck and trapped THP. They began to attack him and soon Frat Boy joined in! All four men attacked THP and beat him up as the referee called for the bell. Street Punk and Chainsaw Charlie ran out from the back with Shane Russell and evened up the sides. Mitchell and Hunter re-entered the truck with Frat Boy driving and the men backed up down the aisle, with THP still on top of the truck. Chad Yaro cheered Mitchell, Hunter and Frat Boy on from the ring. Charlie, Punk and Russell pulled THP off the top of the truck as they headed to the back. (WINNER: THP via DQ at 11:21). As Yaro stood in the ring, a wrestler from another organization by the name of Jasen Casen came running through the crowd. He entered the ring and attacked Yaro from behind, blasting him with a huge forearm. Some fans recognized Casen from the northeastern promotion but even those that didn't cheered him as he took out Yaro. The referee for the THP-Frat Boy match remained in the ring and called for the bell, giving us another impromptu match! JASEN CASEN vs. "THE PROSPECT" CHAD YARO Casen continued to attack Yaro but Yaro fought back. The two men battled back and forth but three minutes in, Shane Russell made his way back out. As Russell walked out and watched from ringside, Jasen Casen set up Chad Yaro in the corner for a splash. Yaro pulled the referee in front of Casen, sending the ref to the mat. Russell from the outside saw an open opportunity and grabbed a chair from ringside. He entered the ring and Casen pointed to Yaro. Russell stood there with the chair and you could see Russell say "I'm sorry" as he blasted Casen with the chair. The announcers wondered why he hit Casen. Russell then did something else questionable and put Yaro on top of Casen. The announcers were stunned as the referee came to and counted to three giving the win to Chad Yaro. (WINNER: CHAD YARO via PINFALL at 3:13). Russell then re-entered the ring and began to attack and beat the hell out Yaro. He then smashed Yaro with a chair and asked for the mic. "Jasen Casen, nothing against you personally. I'm sorry. Chad Yaro, I wanted you to win, I want you to be 100 percent going into our match and I wanted to give you a taste of what's to come at UGA Bring It On! Don't think I'm still doing you favors because I'm not. And come the pay-per-view, you're going to be needing to ask for a lot of favors because you're going to be in serious trouble! And you'll know what i mean by that later tonight!" Russell then threw the mic down in Yaro's face and left the ring to a huge pop from the crowd. The show then cut backstage. BACKSTAGE SEGMENT In the back we saw Insanity Incarnate walking into the arena. The announcers wondered what they were doing there since a little over a month ago, they walked out of the UGA during an episode of Xtreme TV. The show then cut to break. -Commercial- JOE SNOW INTERVIEW The show returned with Joe Snow in the ring with a microphone. Snow began by saying that he's a World Heavyweight Champion elsewhere but like the Fight Club said earlier, he too still gets no respect. He then began to compare himself to the Fight Club and told them if they ever need a fourth man, he's there guy. Kevin Candido walked out from the back and told Snow that he's been a World Champion more than just once and he knows more than anyone about a lack of respect. Candido then called himself the "Star Killer" and said that tonight and at Bring It On, he would be the "Snow Killer." Mighty Ryan Kelly walked out and told both men to shut up and stop complaining about a lack of respect and said he's gained respect in so many ways and he's going to take it to the next level by putting his career on the line in the "Box of Toys" match with Gamblin Gray at Bring It On! This led to Gray coming out and all four men began to brawl to start their Four Way Survivors Match! FOUR WAY SURVIVORS MATCH JOE SNOW vs. KEVIN CANDIDO vs. MIGHTY RYAN KELLY vs. GAMBLIN GRAY The four men began in a huge brawl before the referee was able to restore some order to the match a few minutes into it.
