-70,149 fans packed the Kawasaki Baseball Stadium in Japan for a gate of more than $1 million! Prior to the show, WWC officials lambasted three WWC Superstars over comments they made recently. Also, prior to the show, several former WWC superstars were backstage for the event. One of the matches had a conflict during the booking. Also, the THP v. Chris Jericho match was originally scheduled to see THP put over Jericho and lose via LionTamer, but THP did a shoot on Jericho during the match, and as the show was concluding, THP was apparently lambasted in the back and nearly fired from the WWC. He is in hot water right now in the WWC for pulling what he did in his matchup with Jericho.
