Best International Champion

For the category of Best International Champion, it was mainly a two way race, with THP gaining only one vote as a third place runner up. It came down neck and neck in the voting, but in the end, Disturbed Youth was able to edge out Frat Boy in a close call, by eight to seven votes!

The next award is for the Best Television Champion of the first half of 1999. JaMeS RioT picked up two votes for a distant third place, as this was another battle between two men. Best Hardcore Champion

The next award was for Best Hardcore Champion and suprisingly was not a one man race as expected. Unusually, many of the secondary Hardcore Champions recieved votes to stay in strong. Part Two
of the
First Half of 1999 Awards Show

WWC
World Wrestling Carnage

In this part, we continue to cover the Best. Best Tag Team, Best heel, best face, best tweener. The Angle of the first half and Most Shocking Moment of the first half, as well as some other awards!

Best Tag Team of the First Half of 1999

This award is different from the Best Tag Team Champions, where that award only includes those teams who have held the Tag Team Titles. This award breaks everything down into categories and members of the WWC choose to vote who they think is the Best Tag Team in the WWC, rather they've held the Tag Team Titles or not! In the voting, Insanity Incarante, the one time World Tag Team Champs that consist of Maniac and Frenzy recieved six votes. A step above them, Jago "The Crippler" Ripley and The Beast, collectively known as the Super Destroyers recieved seven votes. But with nine votes, Attitude Adjustment was able to defeat both teams, and win the award for Best Tag Team of the First Half of 1999!

Winner: Attitude Adjustment - Runners Up: The Super Destroyers, Insanity Incarnate

Angle of the First Half of 1999

There were a lot of unbelievable angles in the WWC for the First Half of this year, but some stood out more than others! Kevin Beck returning to try to regain the Presidency from Jon Massey, an angle that lasted over two months, came in with four votes for the Top Angle Award. The angle with Rancid, and his mother and how Jon Massey continued to try to screw him over came in with four votes. Frat Boy's turn on Chainsaw Charlie and others at Wrestle War came in with five votes. But the winning angle, something legit that was turned into an angle by the WWC President, and a great one at that: Eric Davidson and the Board of Directors abusing their power while President Jon Massey was away in the hospital! It recieved seven votes for the victory!

Winner: Davidson & Board of Directors Abuse of Power While Massey Was In Hospital

Most Shocking Moment

There were plenty of shocking moments so far here in 1999 in the WWC! Shane Stud came back to win the WWC World Title at Summer Breakout to suprise everyone! Frat Boy turned on Chainsaw Charlie and others in War Games for the second year in a row, after he had regained everyone's trust! Tom STephenson was attacked by Piranhas, and the WWC released and terminated Frat Boy, which suprised everyone! Coming in at last place, Tom Stephenson being attacked by piranhas gained three votes. The top heels were definetly JaMeS RioT, THP and Mad Dog Mortimer. Larry Gionet recieved two votes as the Best Heel, and may fair better for the Second Half Awards. It was a close, neck and neck race between each of the three members of the "Awesome Threesome" with JaMeS RioT picking up five votes for third place out of those three men.
