Fireworks begin to explode as the opening theme for the pay-per-view plays. The
camera pans the crowd as thousands stand on their feet yelling and cheering. The
scene finally cuts to ringside, to Derek Stallion and Jesse Rhodes]
Stallion: Hello everyone!!!!! We are LIVE, at WWC Fighting to Stay Alive!!! We are LIVE here in Minneapolis, Minnesota!!!!! We've got a HUGE event set forth for the remainder of the night, and it's going to be incredible!!!!!!!
Rhodes: No doubt about it! We've got a lot of big time matches here tonight, including a Two of Three Falls International Title match, and a Hell In a Cell match where the winner will get a WWC World Title shot later in tonight's main event!!!!!!
Stallion: It's going to be an incredible show, no doubt about it! As we attempt to outshine our last effort, which was last month's WWC Summer Breakout!!!! And with that in mind, we aren't going to hesitate! Let's kick off the show with in-ring wrestling! No hotline plugs here, LET"S GO TO THE RING!
[The scene cuts to Veronica in the ring.]
OPENING MATCH!
GRUDGE MATCH
Jack Hunter [v] The Sharpshooter
Veronica: Ladies and gentlemen, the opening match here at Fighting to Stay Alive is scheduled for one fall with a twenty minute time limit! Introducing first, he is "The Unpredictable", JACK HUNTER!
[The scene cuts to the aisle. "Sex Type Thing" begins to play as Jack Hunter
makes his way out to a nice ovation from the crowd.]
Stallion: Here comes Jack Hunter, and he's looking to shut up the Sharpshooter here in this one! And Hunter's even gone as far as saying that he's contemplating retiring if he does not win this match!
Rhodes: Well, he's had a great career in the WWC, and I'm sure he would want to go out with a big win, while also being able to shut up some young kid with an attitude!
[The scene cuts back to Veronica in the ring.]
Veronica: His opponent, making his WWC Pay-Per-View Debut, he is, JASON "THE SHARPSHOOTER" WOLFE!!!!!!!!
[The scene cuts back to the aisle. "Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple begins to
play as The Sharpshooter makes his way out and to the ring to a series of boos
from the crowd.]
Stallion: And here comes The Sharpshooter now!!! He sure has a tough fight against him here against Jack Hunter, that's for sure!!!!
Rhodes: No doubt about it!! It's going to be interesting to see who comes out on top in this matchup! A truly unpredictable battle!!
Stallion: No doubt about it! AND JACK HUNTER ATTACKS THE SHARPSHOOTER!!!!!! He attacks him from the start and the bell rings!!! Hunter nails him and The Sharpshooter goes flying off the apron and down to the floor!
Rhodes: He sure does! And Hunter follows to the outside!! He goes over the top rope, AND COMES OFF THE APRON WITH A DOUBLE AXEHANDLE!! That sends The Sharpshooter back down to the floor! And now Hunter picks up Wolfe and irish whips him into the safety rail!!!
Stallion: WOLFE'S BACK HITS HARD!!!!!! Hunter pulls him out, and he slams him down to the floor!!!! He picks up Sharpshooter and rolls him into the ring!! Hunter follows now and goes between the ropes!! He comes in and picks up Wolfe! BUT WOLFE DROPS HIM WITH A JAWBREAKER!!!!! Hunter hits the mat hard!!
Rhodes: And The Sharpshooter Jason Wolfe picks Hunter up and whips him into the ropes!! Hunter comes back, and Wolfe kicks him in the gut, drops him with an elbow over the back of the head, AND PLANTS HIM WITH A FACEPLANT!!!! Wolfe with the cover!

Stallion: Only got a two count!!! Wolfe picks Hunter up now and takes him to the corner! And Wolfe sends him head first into the top turnbuckle!! He now turns him around and picks him up!! Wolfe setting him up on the top rope now!!!!!
Rhodes: And Wolfe following up too!!! Wolfe goes up top, and he grabs Hunter!! He's going for a superplex!!!! He's trying it, BUT HUNTER BLOCKS IT!! Hunter nailing Wolfe in the midsection with some huge fists!! And Hunter takes The Sharpshooter by the neck!!! He grabs him by the throat, AND CHOKESLAMS HIM OFF OF THE TOP ROPE!!!!!! OH MY GOD! WHAT A MOVE!
Stallion: And Hunter makes the cover! This could be all!

Rhodes: He only got a two count there!!!! But that was an incredible move by Hunter, the first I've ever seen from anyone!!!! And now Hunter picks up Wolfe, and he throws him to the outside! These fans love the action!!
Stallion: They sure do!! And Hunter follows out, as Wolfe is damn near out of it!!! Hunter takes him and sends him into the safety rail!! Wolfe hits it, AND GOES OVER THE TOP AND INTO THE FIRST ROW!!!!! And Hunter grabs a steel chair!!
Rhodes: He has a chair and he goes over to The Sharpshooter!! He goes to nail him, but Wolfe moves, AND HUNTER NAILS A FAN WITH THE CHAIR!!!!! MY OH MY!!!!! And now Hunter drops the chair, but Wolfe grabs him by the arm, AND HIPTOSSES HIM OVER THE RAIL AND INTO THE CROWD!!! INCREDIBLE!!
Stallion: Both men in the first few rows now!! Wolfe pulls up Hunter, and both men nailing each other back and forth! Rights and lefts! This is incredible!!!!!!! And now Wolfe nails Hunter with a thumb to the eye! That slows Hunter down!!! Wolfe grabs a chair from a fan and he NAILS HUNTER OVER THE HEAD WITH IT!!!! AND A SECOND SHOT! THIS TIME OVER THE BACK!!!!!! OH MY!
Rhodes: And now The Sharpshooter grabs Hunter and sends him back into the ring! Wolfe follows here and grabs Hunter and holds his legs out and kicks him in the middle! OH MY!! And now Wolfe grabs Hunter and HE LOCKS ON THE SHARPSHOOTER!!!!! RIGHT THERE IN THE CENTER OF THE RING!
Stallion: And Hunter's got no where to go!!! He's trying to hold out but Wolfe has it locked on good and he's applying a lot of pressure!!!!!!! Hunter still yet to tap out as the referee still asks him!! He won't tap, and Wolfe continues to apply pressure!! MY OH MY!!
Rhodes: And Wolfe has it locked on!!! I think Hunter's passed out! The referee is checking Hunter, AND HE IS OUT!! HE"S OUT!! And the referee calls for the bell!!! THIS ONE IS OVER!
Veronica: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the match, nine minutes, forty one seconds, THE SHARPSHOOTER JASON WOLFE!!!!!!!!!!
Stallion: Wolfe picks up a huge victory here in his first pay-per-view matchup!! What a great way to start off Fighting to Stay Alive!
Rhodes: No doubt about it! A great opening match! And it was just that, it was Hunter's attempt, Hunter's "fight" so to speak, to stay alive!!!

Stallion: We start things off with a great opening matchup with Jason Wolfe picking up a big win here in the WWC! He looked quite impressive in doing so!
Rhodes: He sure did, and that could have very well been the last match we see Jack Hunter participate in!!!
Stallion: No doubt about it! And fans, don't forget that a little bit later on, we've got a special Battle Royal with all of the newcomers to the WWC battling it out! It's gonna be a big one!
Rhodes: It sure is, but right now, it's time for a Special Tag Team Challenge Match! So let's go to the ring!!!!!!
[The scene cuts to Veronica in the ring.]
SPECIAL TAG TEAM CHALLENGE!
James Ramon & Luke Golden [v] Los Aztecas
Veronica: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall with a thirty minute time limit and is a Special Tag Team Challenge Match! Introducing first, the team of James Ramon and Luke Golden!!!!!!!!!!!
[The scene cuts to the aisle. Luke Golden and James Ramon make their way out to
a series of boos from the crowd.]
Stallion: Here comes the team of James Ramon and Luke Golden! These two guys have had a little heat with Los Aztecas over the course of the past few weeks for some reason!
Rhodes: That's right, and this match will conclude their fued and put things to an end! We'll see a final winner here in this one, as one team will walk out victorious!
[The scene cuts back to Veronica.]
Veronica: And their opponents, Mascara Oro and Montezuma, they are LOS AZTECAS!!!!!!!!!!!!
[The scene cuts to the aisle where "Cup of Life" by Ricky Martin begins to blast and
Mascara Oro and Monteuzuma make their way out to a nice ovation from the
crowd.]
Stallion: And here comes the Mexican Duo now!!! These two make a great tag team and have really worked their way up the ranks in the WWC here as of late!
Rhodes: They've been quite impressive and successful, for sure!
Stallion: Yeah, but tonight is the real test! And now, all four men are in the ring, and the bell has rung! Los Aztecas looks ready, and it looks like Montezuma will be starting things off for them!
Rhodes: That's right...and on the other side, Luke Golden will be starting off! Both men circling each other and they lock up! Montezuma kicks Golden in the midsection! He irish whips him into the ropes, goes for a clothsline but Golden ducks it, comes back, and nails Montezuma with a flying forearm!!
Stallion: Montezuma tried to catch Golden off guard but Golden caught him off guard! Golden is standing there and he's awaiting Montezuma who is trying to regroup in the corner!
Rhodes: And now Golden charges in at Montezuma! He's tired of waiting I guess, but Montezuma nails him with a forearm shot to the gut! He grabs Golden and turns him around into the corner!!! And now Montezuma is applying a chokehold to Golden!
Stallion: But the ref pulls Montezuma off of him!!!! And now he has the ref as Mascara Oro is pounding on the chest of Golden in the corner!! Ramon runs into the ring, but the ref stops him!!! And both men double team Golden now!!!!! Ramon is a bit angry!! And it seems Los Aztecas are taking a page out of Golden and Ramon's book!
Rhodes: The ref turns around, just as they stop the double team! And Montezuma charges in with a big kneelift into the gut of Golden! He makes the tag and in comes Oro! He comes in and begins unloading on Golden with some vicious kicks!!!
Stallion: He pulls Golden out and takes him down with a drop toe hold!! He tags in Montezuma now! But Montezuma goes back towards Golden. He grabs him, and he has now applied a surfboard to him!!!! Meanwhile, Mascara Oro is up on top! He comes off and nails Golden with a double axehandle to the chest!!!! Nicely done there by Los Aztecas!!!!!!
Rhodes: No doubt about it!!! The surfboard is broken now and Montezuma picks up Golden!!! He nails him with a chop, and irish whips him into the ropes!!!! Golden comes back and Montezuma sets him up for a back body drop, but Golden stops, KICKS MONTEZUMA, AND NAILS HIM WITH A SWINGING NECKBREAKER!!!!!!!
Stallion: Just what they needed right there!! And now Golden slowly trying to get over to make the tag to Ramon and HE DOES!!! Ramon runs in and nails Montezuma with a vicious kick to the midsection!! Montezuma holds his stomach! Ramon picks him up for a scoop slam, AND HE DROPS HIM DOWN WITH A MICHUONOKI DRIVER!!!!!!! He makes the cover!

Rhodes: He almost had him right there!! Ramon picks up Montezuma now! He tags in Golden!!!! Ramon nails Montezuma with a snapmare, Golden comes in, bounces off the ropes, and DROPKICKS MONTEZUMA!!!! NICELY DONE!!!!!
Stallion: Very nice! And it looks like Golden regained some energy by taking that breather! He picks up Montezuma and slams him down to the mat! He bounces off the ropes...and he nails a standing legdrop!! The cover!

Rhodes: Only a two! Mascara Oro awaiting a tag on the outside! Golden tags Ramon back in!! Ramon goes up top, and comes off, NAILING MONTEZUMA WITH A FROGSPLASH!!!!! RAMON WITH THE COVER!

MASCARA ORO BREAKS IT UP!
Stallion: And Ramon now goes over and tries to nail Oro off the apron, but Oro catches Ramon, AND DROPS HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE WITH AN OVERHEAD SUPLEX!!! RAMON HITS THE CONCRETE HARD!
Rhodes: And Oro on the apron awaiting Montezuma now!! He's slowly inching over to make the tag, AND HE DOES!!! ORO IS IN AND GOLDEN COMES IN TO MEET HIM! But Oro decks him with a right hand! And a second! And a third! He takes him and irish whips him across the ropes! Golden comes back and Oro catches him, AND POWERSLAMS HIM DOWN TO THE MAT VICIOUSLY!
Stallion: Oro with the cover on Golden, but he's not the legal man!!! Ramon is back up and he's on the top rope here!! He's up top and he leaps off, BUT ORO MOVES!! AND RAMON NAILS HIS OWN PARTNER GOLDEN WITH A BIG SPLASH!!! Ramon can't believe it, and Oro kicks him to the gut and NAILS HIM WITH A DOUBLE ARM DDT!!!!!!!!
Rhodes; Montezuma is back in and he grabs Golden and is taking it to him in the corner!!!!! Meanwhile Oro has Ramon here and HE NAILS THE STAR-DUST PRESS!!!!!!!! OH MY!! RAMON IS OUT AND ORO HOOKS THE LEGS WITH THE COVER!

Veronica: Ladies and gentlemen, the winners of the match, twelve minutes, twenty three seconds, Mascara Oro and Montezuma, LOS AZTECAS!!!!!!!!
Rhodes: Aztecas pick up the big win here tonight and look quite impressive in doing so! And you can be sure that they will be in line for a tag team title match in the future!
Stallion: No doubt about it! Los Aztecas is definetly going place here in the WWC!

Stallion: Two matches down and so far it's been a great show! And we've got a lot left! And I do mean a lot!
Rhodes: Your right about that! And look at that! Spotted in the crowd, in attendance tonight, the former WWC employee, Perry Tanhammer!
Stallion: That's right! He used to wrestle as Frat Boy and due to some contractual disagreements, he was released, but on good terms nonetheless! And he is in the crowd tonight!
Rhodes: Well, that's really no suprise to me personally Derek, considering all of those big names in the back who are back and in the WWC tonight! I'm not gonna mention their names though!
Stallion: That's right, because we'll all see for ourselves a little later on!! But right now, let's go back to the ring!!!!!!!!
[The scene cuts to Veronica in the ring.]
NON-TITLE GRUDGE MATCH
Street Punk [v] Al Basler
Veronica: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall with a thirty minute time limit and is a Special Non-Title Grudge Match!!!!! Introducing first, he is accompanied to the ring by Mighty Ryan Kelly. He is the WWC World Television Champion, AL BASLER!!!!!!!
[The scene cuts to the aisle. "Stitches" by Orgy begins to blast as Al Basler makes
his way out and to the ring to a huge pop from the crowd. Mighty Ryan Kelly
follows him to the ring]
Stallion: Here comes Al Basler, the World TV Champion! Regardless of what happens tonight, his next opponent will be Edward Sprinkle at the next Tragedy TV show! Sprinkle won the shot last week and he will be the next man in line for his shot!
Rhodes: That's right, and there's been a lot of bickering over why this match is non-title! Well, it's simple. Street Punk is undeserving of a title match. He's been here less than a month, and he has yet to prove himself! He doesn't deserve one. It's that simple!
Stallion: Your right about that! Enough said on that one!
[The scene cuts back to Veronica in the ring.]
Veronica: His opponent, he is the one third of the National Organization of Men Against Massey, he is STREET PUNK!!!!!!
[The scene cuts to the aisle. "Dirty Deeds" by AC/DC plays as Street Punk makes
his way out to a series of boos from the crowd. Larry Gionet follows behind him as
well as Eric Davidson, and the crowd boos even louder]
Stallion: And here comes Street Punk!! He's got some company with him as Davidson and Gionet are out there! And one thing is for certain, these are three of the most hated men in all of wrestling!
Rhodes: Your right about that! And now we have the referee informing Gionet that he has to get the hell outta there! He's gotta leave the ring since he's not involved in the match!
Stallion: Good call by the referee! He's allowing Davidson to stay in a managerial role but Gionet's gotta leave, and Gionet is being escorted back!!!!!!! And he's none too happy about it!!!!!!!!!
Rhodes: He sure isn't!! Street Punk isn't too happy as well but he's ready for the match, and you can see that the Intense World TV Champion is ready as well!!! And Davidson hops down to the floor as Punk and Basler look eye to eye!
Stallion: And there's the belll! Both men lock up and Basler grabs Punk in a side headlock! Punk pushes Basler off and into the ropes, he comes off, does a backwards leapfrog up and onto Basler's head! He spins himself around, AND NAILS BASLER WITH A FLYING HEAD SCISSORS!!!!!!!
Rhodes: Incredible move there by Basler!!!!! And I want to point out something, things are even at ringside! Mighty Ryan Kelly there in Al Basler's corner and Davidson in Street Punk's corner!!! But what I don't get is that two months ago at Shattered Dreams, Mighty Ryan Kelly DECKED Al Basler with a title belt!!!!!
Stallion: That's right, to help Disturbed Youth keep the gold in Youth's match with Basler! And now Basler has Kelly in his corner!! He must have a short-term memory, even though Kelly says that the Baz can trust him!!!!!!!
Rhodes: I don't know, but Basler gets up and Punk comes in and Basler takes him over with an armdrag takedown! Punk up again, and charges in, and Basler takes him over with yet another armdrag takedown! Basler hyperextends the arm of Punk now!!! And look at Perry Tanhammer, former WWC wrestler known as Frat Boy sitting in the crowd looking on!!!!
Stallion: Yeah, I guess he wants to be as close to the action as he can! And he's promised that he won't be attacking anyone else from here on out! He'll just be a spectator!
Rhodes: Yeah right! This is Perry Tanhammer we're talking about!
Stallion: Nonetheless, great action thus far in this one!! And now Basler keeps applying the pressure on that arm!!! Basler brings the arm back around and he nails it with an elbow, putting even more pressure on it! He breaks the hold and whips Punk into the corner!!
Rhodes: And now Basler charges in! He gets on the second rope and he begins nailing Punk with repeated rights and lefts!!! Basler is tearing into his arch nemesis here tonight!! And Kelly cheering him on!!! He's nailing him repeatedly, but now Punk grabs Basler, AND HE PLANTS HIM WITH A FACE PLANT OUT OF THE CORNER!!!!
Stallion: And Punk rolls him over and makes the first cover of the match!

Rhodes: One and a half there!! Punk gets up and pulls Basler up with him!! He picks him up, and goes for a suplex, but Basler slides behind!! Basler grabs Punk in a waistlock now, but Punk reverses that, go behind....Punk grabs Basler, AND NAILS HIM WITH A BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX!
Stallion: Punk bridges with the cover!

Rhodes: He got a two that time!! He picks up Basler. He snap suplexes him down, and makes yet another cover!

Stallion: Another nearfall!!!! Punk gets up now and he's going to the corner! Punk climbs up top and he's up on the top rope!!! He's awaiting Basler, who's just coming to!! Basler is up, AND BASLER LEAPS OFF WITH A MISSILE DROPKICK THAT MISSES!!!! Basler moves and pushes Street Punk's feet out of the way!! And now Basler picks up Punk and he's going for The Sharpshooter early here!! But Davidson pulls Punk's arms to the ropes and the referee calls for the break! Blatant interference there by Davidson!!!!!!
Rhodes: And the ref gets Basler off! Baz comes back in though and now he's kicking on Punk! The crowd rallying behind Al Basler here!! He's nailing him with some vicious kicks, and now Basler places Punk's head over the top of the bottom rope!! Punk is helpless as Basler bounces off the ropes....he charges in, AND GOES FOR A BIG SPLASH BUT MISSES!!!! DAVIDSON TOLD PUNK TO MOVE!!!!!!!! Basler goes all the way through the ropes and to the outside! INCREDIBLE!
Stallion: Basler would have nailed that if it had not been for Davidson!! And now we have Kelly threatening Davidson here at ringside and Davidson backing off! He wants no piece of Kelly! And now Punk climbs to the top rope!!!!! Punk is up on top!!!!!! Basler gets up on the outside, PUNK COMES OFF AND NAILS BASLER WITH A FLYING BODY PRESS!!!!! ON THE OUTSIDE! UNBELIEVABLE!
Rhodes: Amazing manuever there sends both men down!!!! Punk is on top of Basler on the outside and he's just nailing him with rights and lefts!!! Punk is pounding into Basler as the crowd boos him loudly!!! And now Punk gets up and he leaps up on the apron!! Punk backs up, and now runs down the apron, AND COMES OFF NAILING BASLER WITH AN ELBOW DROP!!!!!!!! INCREDIBLE!
Stallion: Both men risking it all here!!!!!! And now we have Punk getting up and grabbing a chair!!! Punk throws the chair into the ring!! And now Punk picks up Basler and tosses him inside! He goes up to the apron! He's awaiting Basler now!! Basler's slowly getting up!! He waits, leaps, and NAILS BASLER WITH A SPRINGBOARD CLOTHSLINE!!!!! Punk with the cover!

Rhodes: It was almost over right there! And now Punk picks up Basler now and he bodyslams him down to the mat!!! Davidson hands Punk a chair and he places it against the side of Basler's face!!!!!
Stallion: He's got something planned! What's he going to do!? Punk bounces off the ropes, runs in, AND DROPKICKS THE CHAIR INTO BASLER"S FACE!!! OH MY!!! Basler is shaken up after that one!!! And you can see his head where he is quivering! That busted him open right there!
Rhodes: And Punk hooks his legs and makes the cover!

Stallion: Another near fall! So close!!! Punk grabs that chair once again and he sets it up inside of the ring! You can tell that man right there wants so deseperately to beat Al Basler here! He has the chair and he sets it up in the center of the ring! He picks up Basler now!
Rhodes: Irish whip into the ropes by Punk!! Basler comes back, Punk catches him, AND PUNK NAILS HIM WITH A SPINEBUSTER ONTO THE CHAIR!!!! MY GOD FANS!!!!
Stallion: Punk hooks the leg! This should be all!

Rhodes: Another close call! Punk cannot believe it!! He thought for sure that he had the match won there!!! But now, Punk is calling for a DDT right here!!! He's got a devestating one for sure, so this could be it for The Baz!!!!!!!
Stallion: Punk is calling for it! He picks up Basler!!!!!! HE HAS HIM UP!!!!!! Basler is trying to power his way out of the front face head lock though.......AND HE DOES! AND HE COUNTERS IT INTO A NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX WITH A BRIDGE!!!!!! OH MY!!!!!!!
Rhodes: AND BAZ WITH THE COVER!

Rhodes: OUT OF NO WHERE!!!!!! MY OH MY!! AND ONLY A TWO COUNT! SO CLOSE! And now both men are down and Basler can barely move! He's trying to inch his way over to make another cover on Punk!! AND HE DOES!

Stallion: What a match!!!!!!! Unbelievable action! Both men trying to get to their feet now!!!!! Basler is up, as is Punk!!!! Punk goes for a right hand, BUT BASLER BLOCKS IT!! And now Basler is pounding away on Punk! A right, and a second, and A THIRD!! Basler grabs Punk and whips him into the ropes!!!!! Punk comes back and goes for a flying body press on Basler! Basler catches him though, and lifts him up, AND HE HAS HIM FOR THE DVD!!!
Rhodes: STREET PUNK HAS NO WHERE TO GO!!!!! AND BASLER DROPS HIM DOWN WITH THE DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!!!!!!!!!!! And now Basler gets up and he's calling for the Sharpshooter and this crowd is going wild!!
Stallion: And Punk is helpless as Basler locks it on!!! OH MY!!! He has it on and DAVIDSON IS UP ON THE APRON!!!!! He's got something in his hands and he's on the apron!!! But Kelly is coming around and he grabs Davidson off of the apron!! AND HE NAILS HIM WITH A FOREARM!

A few months, he could probably be a World Title contender like he was once before, but now that this has happened, who knows!
