Taking their cue from such bands as the Breeders, Blondie, and Pavement, the members of Sinde Kise travel New York City's club scene playing their own brand of thrashy pop. Leaving the serious issues to P.J. harvey, Sinde Kise play original songs exploring the mundane such as: inflation, Mr. Softee; claustrophobia, Locked in a Room; and everyday unpleasantries, Hi.
Besides the requisite lead and rhythm guitar, bass, and drums, guest appearances of trumpet, organ, flute, and triangle make their way into song lines and live sets. Veterans of NYC clubland, having played such venues as CBGBs, Arlene Grocery, Acme Underground, and Sidewalk (The Fort), Sinde Kise play dynamic live sets and continue to expand their impressive repertoire.
