We Lied!!!
And so the link you just pressed brings you here, to learn all about the early history of Newton's Balls. You lucky monkey....
It all began back way back when the world was new. Well, almost! A sister and her two brothers decided to form a rock group and they called it "Newton's Balls". The group consisted of Edward "P-Frog" Eliss on drums (which he didn't have), Alex "Beetle" Ellis on guitar (he used his Dad's) and Elisabeth "Lizzie" Ellis (she had a guitar but couldn't play "F"). As you can probably imagine the band went nowhere. At least, that is until the arrival of Thunk.
And with him came Tom Tom's, a family friend. These new additions (that actually had instruments) heralded the start of the future for the Newtons.
P-Frog was promptly booted out (after all nobody needs two drummers, 'cept Slipknot) and Tom given the horrific task of keeping the Newtons in time and speeding that time up as much as possible throughout the song. Don't mourn the loss of P-Frog too much, he was a dick and couldn't play. At this stage the band wrote such class titles as "Would You?", "The Alien Song", "Bite Back" and, of course, the amazing Gustaff!!
Gustaff's power was so great in fact and so totally addictive that after an entire practice of playing the riff one of the band members left. Lizzie Ellis would never again play with the Newtons. But we didn' mind so much, after all she couldn' play "F" and she was a bit too keen on Pokmon....
So, we had our new line-up, Alex on guitar, Rory on bass, Tom on drums and Gustaff doing backing dances (when he managed to make it to rehearsals).
It was around this time that we all grew a little older (except Tom, still twelve...) and Alex joined the college of his best friend and bassist. It was here the final addition to the band was added. Minx was found and the dynamic quintet were ready to rock!!
So there you have it folks, the true story behind the founding of Newton's Balls!!
