In 2001 I traveled
through the north of Italy with Monica,
driving from Milan to Venice. On the way, we stopped in Como and Sirmione.
From Como we saw some beautiful Swiss mountains and
in Sirmione I swam in the lake di Garda.
Of course we had pizza almost every day!
Above you can
see a typical "parking lot" in Venice.
Below, the city of Como. The last time the level of the waters
went up that high was about 100 year ago.
