Noone's sure quite how he does it (hey, it's not like he went to tech-school, right?!), but Donatello has the uncanny ability to understand how things work. By things, I mean anything: Computers, robotics, combustion engines, rocket propulsion systems, the light in the fridge, etc. The brainiest turtle of the bunch, Donnies just a natural engineer. Since he was a toddler, he's been taking things apart and putting 'em back together (usually adding an "improvement" or two). He's a certified, self-taught genius!
Long on inspiration, and stout of heart, Donatello was the perfect candidate to take up the Bo staff as his weapon of choice.
