Other wildlife abounds at the sanctuary. I suppose it's only natural in the desert. I never saw, but heard the coyotes though. Apparently there is a mountain lion occasionally and some wild burro as well as the 2 dogs, 22 cats and the amazing hummingbirds that live at the sanctuary full time.
I did get to 'meet' Chop-Chop and Mrs Chop-Chop the roadrunner, and on my last morning a huge dragonfly came a-dragoning and a-flying by.
Sunday morning came only too quickly and Suzanne and Santana came to pick me up.
We left for breakfast in Barstow and after another nice diner experience hit the road proper for the journey north.
Many, many thanks to all those who made my and our time at Wolf Mountain both possible and a totally wonderful experience.
Tonya, Chris (thanks again for the artefact!), Angel, Nell and everyone else who
I met there.
