The NewsRadio Drinking Game
I. Dave Nelson.

Take a sip when:
-Dave sips his coffee.
-Beth calls Dave "boss".
-Dave's mom is mentioned by anyone other than Jimmy
-Dave goes bitchcakes.
-Someone does a "Geek Check" on Dave.
-A reference is made to Dave's boyishness.
-Wisconsin is mentioned.
-Dave reveals his *darker side* (PURE Evil!).
-Dave complains about the budget
-Dave and Lisa kiss in Dave's office

Take Two sips when:
-Dave's Canadian background is mentioned
-One of Dave's unusual talents (a capella singing, knife-throwing, tap dancing, etc.)
-Dave refers to Star Wars, Star Trek or Green Acres
-Lisa slaps Dave
-Two sips if, when Jimmy greets Dave with the first line of a song, Dave responds with the next line

Chug when:
-Dave mentions his own boyishness
-Anyone besides Beth calls Dave "boss".

II. Bill McNeil
Take a sip when:

-Bill insults/makes fun of Dave.
-Bill plays the piano.
-Bill smokes.
-Bill says "Good times".
-Bill shares inaccurate historical information.
-Bill makes a comment about Dave and Lisa's relationship.
-Bill claims stale/rotten food is just like his mother used to make.
-The "McNeal Perspective" or the "Real Deal" is mentioned.
-Bill makes any sort of sexual innuendo.
-Bill states how he wields more power around WNYX.
-Bill says, "Daaaaaaamnnnn!"
-Bill refers to Dave as "little guy" (as in "Look at the poor little guy!")
-Bill invents a new word.
-We hear Bill or Catherine on air
-Bill calls Matthew "Spaz"
-Bill says "WYNX news time ".

Take two sips when:
-Bill uses the word "assload"
-Bill calls anyone "sir," (as in, "you, sir, are" or "unhand me, good sir!")
-Bill mentions a crazy girlfriend
-Bill refers to his family's uh, unorthodox, behavior.

Chug when:
-Bill insults another staff member (other than Dave)
-Bill says "kudos."
-Bill talks of his family's unorthodox behavior and follows it with "Good times . . . ."
-Anyone hits Bill
-Anyone but Bill says "sir" to anyone other than Jimmy

III. Catherine Duke
Take a sip when:

-Catherine slaps Joe
-Catherine calls someone "honey".
-Catherine flirts with a man, only to put them in their place.
-Someone mentions Catherine after she left the show.
-We hear Bill or Catherine on air
-Catherine calls anyone "sweetie."

Take two sips:
-Catherine's cleavage is particularly evident
-If Catherine calls Joe sweetie.

IV. Beth
Take a sip when:

-One sip the first time you see Beth chewing her gum in the episode
-Beth blows a bubble.
-Beth says, "WhatEVER."
-Beth mentions how broke she is.
-Beth refers to her boyfriends, dates, men in general, etc.
-An episdoe is Vicki-less due to a movie.
-Beth lifts both her hands and wiggles them for emphasis (you know, the Beth Gesture)
-Beth's outfit is unusual, even for her standards

Take two sips:
-If you actually see the gum (outside of her mouth)
-Beth's midriff is bare

Chug if:
-Beth's outfit is actually remarked upon (or someone gives a double-take)

V. Matthew Brock
Take a sip when:

-Matthew talks about unicorns, dwarfs, hobbits, gnomes, wizards, rainbows or Dilbert.
-Matthew does something only for Bill.
-Matthew cries.
-Matthew mentions computer solitare.
-Matthew breaks anything
-Matthew falls

Take two sips when:
-Matthew is about to fallbut doesn't! (But only one sip if three seconds later, he falls for real.)
-Anyone besides Bill calls Matthew "Spaz"

Chug when:
-Matthew expresses any sort of behavior towards Bill that is not completely worshipful.
-Matthew's girlfriend appears.
-The opening credits start WITHOUT Matthew falling down.
-Matthew "gets some"

VI. Jimmy James
Take a sip when:

-Jimmy mentions his billionaire status.
-Jimmy talks about Dave's mother.
-After Jimmy mentions a conspiracy, Dave ignores what he said and smiles.
-After Jimmy mentions a conspiracy, Lisa questions him about his statement and Jimmy runs away.
-Jimmy make a reference to porn.
-Jimmy says "Hi People!"
-Jimmy calls a press conference.
-Jimmy name-drops.
-Jimmy complains about the budget
-Jimmy enters Dave's office and greets him with a line from a song
-Jimmy eats a cracker
-Jimmy starts to deliver a clich� but finishes it with his own twist (enigmasmothered in secret sauce)
-Jimmy is called "Jimmy" to his face
-Jimmy refers to his wife candidate list

Take two sips when:
-Jimmy refers to a conspiracy or political cover-up no one yet realizes is a conspiracy or political cover-up (Area 52, Moon landing, etc.)
-Jimmy drinks out of anything other than a regular cup
-Jimmy passes the cracker to someone else, who then avoids eating it
-Jimmy refers to his dogs
-Jimmy is called "Jimmy" to his face by anyone other than Bill or Catherine
-Jimmy refers to removing someone from his wife candidate list
-Jimmy mentions his fixation on Dave's mom

Chug when:
-Jimmy reveals his own role in some political cover-up (i.e., Deep Throat, Whitewater, Balloongate)
-Chug the whole damn bottle when Jimmy mentions another company he owns.
-Jimmy calls anyone "bastard."
-Anyone calls Jimmy "Jimbo."
-We see an actual wife candidate
-Jimmy calls Dave "Pumpkin"

VII. Joe (I didn't know your name was) Garelli
Take a sip when:

-Joe says "dude".
-Joe refers to a conspiracy or political cover-up
-Joe's duct tape is mentioned.
-Someone says, "Your last name is Garelli?"
-Joe hits on Lisa, or Catherine.
-The big window in Dave's office is broken.
-You see Joe shirtless.
-Joe says "bogus"

Take two sips when:
-Joe says "*totally* bogus"

Chug when:
-Joe breaks Dave's window, & says "I'll fix that."

VIII. Lisa Miller
Take a sip when:

-Lisa says something mathematical.
-Lisa goes bitchcakes.
-Lisa goes bitchcakes and then gets turned on by it.
-Lisa thinks she's going to get fired.
-Lisa mentions academic achievements (or SATs).
-ANYBODY hits on Lisa.
-Lisa claps to get Matthew's attention.
-Lisa loses her shirt (or wears Beths' clothes).
-Lisa and Dave kiss in Dave's office

Take Two sips when:
-Lisa mentions Dave's boyishness
-Lisa slaps Dave
-Lisa refers to the fact that she never watched TV as a child.

Chug when:
-Lisa refers to the fact that she never watched TV as a child, then contradicts this by knowing about Fat Albert

IX. Walt
Take a sip when:

-Walt calls Lisa a beautiful lady.
-A reference is made to Walt's beauty.
-Walt sucks up to Dave.

X. WNYX in general
Take a sip when:

-Anyone says "Bababooey".
-A reference is made to the extras/non-core group of workers. (You know what I'm talking about? Like when Jimmy says he hired a bunch of people to spy on everyone and then he tells them they can go home and every extra walks off the set?)
-No one knows the name of an extra.
-You see anyone actually doing their job.
-Any Shaft reference!
-A Saturday Night Live alum shows up.
-You notice that Dave and Bill have the same hair color.
-Whenever you see one of the characters in their apartments.
-Something blows up.
-Any reference to homoerotic tension between Matthew and Bill.
-Someone is taking a nap on the couch in Dave's office.
-An episode goes by and there's no mention of any actual news
-Anyone uses the word "ass."

Take two sips when:
-Someone has slept all night on the couch in Dave's office
-Catherine says "WNYX news time ."
-Take two sips when: A Ben Stiller Show alum shows up.
-Two sips if we hear anyone but Bill or Catherine on air
-Two sips if we actually hear someone breaking a story
-Two sips if someone complains about low ratings
-Two sips if anyone but Matthew "gets some."
-Two sips when someone gets hurt, another person says "oh, it's nothing major," followed immediately by the ambulance clip.

Chug when:
-Anyone of the cast appear (or are intended to appear) naked.
-A Kids in the Hall alum shows up.
-One of the stories in an episode revolves around the reporting of a news event.
-Anyone uses the phrase "my bitch" (or any variety of same, such as "my sweet bitches," "make me your bitch," etc.)
-Someone gets hit by any food item, including a Jimmy Cracker
-Chugalug if, when Jimmy and Dave greet each other with song lyrics, the studio audience actually gets the reference
-Anyone but Dave refers to Star Wars, Star Trek or Green Acres
-Someone we've never seen before dies.
-Drink a keg if anyone is fired because of low ratings

And Finally,
Raise a glass in memory of Phil Hartman and drain it to its dregs.
