The Race Night

Thanks to every one who attended the race night at Newsome Working Mens Club. We had a big turn out and we managed to raise �100 for the club. Everybody enjoyed themselves and the races were marvellous. Thanks go to the committee for organising the event.

Unfortunately Gary can no longer coach our under 12's team due to personel commitments. However Gary sends his best wishes to both teams for the rest of the season. He would also like to thank the parents for their support.

Our Lads Get Called Up

Huddersfield U17's minor team coach came to have a look at our players at the weekend. He was very inpressed with the U16's and has borrowed the following players to make up his squad for sundays game against Bradford minors.

The Christmas Party

Thank's to everyone who attended the Newsome United Christmas Party. The party was boosted even more as both teams won there cup games taking them into the third round. There was a buffet layed on and a disco which was great. We had a raffle with 12 prizes donated by parents of the players. All together around �40 pounds was made for the club.......

New Coach Comes Onboard

You will be glad to hear that we have a new coach starting with the club.
Chris Scadden (Former Linthwaite Rangers) has a good track record and will be hoping to start a mini soccer team next season.Chris will be spending most of his time with the U16's..........
