October 2008 Karoeoke Come on out bring your family, (your kids are always welcome,) friends and have a great time while supporting your post home. This is a monthly event on the first Friday of every month. Bingo The more you play the more we pay! Bring your friends and family. Pass the word. Bingo is on Sunday and Wednesday nights. Doors open at 5 p.m. We start selling cards at 6 p.m. Bingo starts at 7 p.m. New game pack prices are $3,$6,and $9. Also another game has been added for a total of 16 games. We will not order anymore food inventory for Bingo after our current inventory runs out. We are going to try having our members bring in food to sell. Like chili, chicken and noodles, etc. Please help out if you can. Thanks. Bingo Workers We need volunteers to call, sell cards, work concessions, and sell pull tabs. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Canteen & Bingo Hall Rental Don't forget about your post home when planning your next get together, party, or event. We have a full bar that offers a pool table, and jukebox. The Bingo Hall is available to rent. Bingo Hall Rental $75 Cleaning Deposit, Rental Fee $275 or $300 with use of the kitchen. For questions or reservations please contact Club Manager Howard (Lee) Bartlett at 620-442-4780 Post Members who are planning a personal event can rent the Bingo hall for only the price of the cleaning deposit of $75. |
| Ladies Auxiliary News Next Meeting... Ladies please join us on When: Tuesday October 14th Time: 7:30 p.m. Attendance at our meetings averages only 5-7 ladies per month. We need and would greatly appreciate your participation. We are still in need of a Secretary, and if anyone is interested in becoming Treasuruer please let us know. We have a new Treasurer in place but she is taking this position temporarily as she may be moving out of state in the near future. Cakes Needed for Bingo Ladies do you love to bake? We need you! We sell cakes at Bingo every Sunday and Wednesday night to help raise funds for our Auxiliary so that we can purchse items needed to run the concessions at Bingo. Please help if you can. You may drop off your cake anytime after 5p.m. in the bingo hall. UPCOMING EVENTS Men's Auxiliary will be hosting a Fish Fry Fundraiser October 10, 2008 5:00p.m. at our Post Home 3212 N. Summit Arkansas City, KS.
