GABRIEL DAMON plays Spot Conlon, the tough leader of the Brooklyn newsies. A native of Reno, Nevada, Damon moved to the Los Angeles area at the age of four. By age seven, he had appeared in more than 50 commercials.

His first major role came in 1983 as R. H. Sarnac on the critically acclaimed TV series "Call to Glory." When the series ended after two years he went on to guest starring roles on such series as "Riptide," "Amazing Stories," "Highway to Heaven," "Who's the Boss," and "Star Trek: The Next Generation". He also had starring roles in two made-for-television movies, Convicted and Stranger In My Bed.

Damon made his feature film debut in 1986 in Terminus. His other film credits include Journey to Spirit Island, Tequila Sunrise, and Robocop 2. He has also performed as the voices of Littlefoot in The Land Before Time and Nemo in Little Nemo. Damon most recently appeared on an episode of "E.R." and in the movie Bayou Ghost.
