| April 25, 2001... To the cast: Hello! I can't believe that I am finally getting up the courage to finally do this. Wow! What do you say to famous people? Well, I won't bore you with my whole life story. I am just a simple teenager, a large fan of newsies, and a large fan of yours. As you can see, I keep up a regular Newsies website and I am one of the many Newsies fan-fiction writers on a website called Fanfiction.net. I was so excited to hear that the Newsies soundtrack has finally been re-released and that the movie is soon to be. I have been trying my hardest to spread the joyous news to all of the other newsie fans on the net. I don't know if you know, but there was a site dedicated to making a petition to get the movie back on the shelves and in the movie theaters. Everyone who has put out the effort for that site has been terribly excited about the good news. We feel that this might be the chance for Newsies to be introduced to the younger generations, so that they can witness the splendor that the movie really is. There have been so many things that the movie has done to me to benefit my life. I would have never learned of my love for writing, which I think that I might possibly want to take up as a career when I am out of school. Also, I would have never begun to be an artist by doing commision work in my home town had I had not started drawing group portraits of the newsies and figured out my talent for drawing people. Every person in my school knows of the movie, Newsies, despite the fact that we were all about the age of 5 when it was introduced. In the 5th grade my social studies teacher showed the film to the entire grade. Everyone believes that it is an awesome film and that you are all splended actors/actresses. Though I have not had the actual pleasure of meeting you I have heard from some of your past co-stars and people that have met you that you are all wonderful people. And I am sure that that is definately true. Well, I just wanted to express my absolute graditude to everyone of you on how much your movie means to me. I wish you many more wonderful years of life and I thank you so very very much for making the movie Newsies what it is. I hope to see/hear more about you in movies in the future.
