The editorial staff will sometimes give "expert" quotes on medical and NHS stories and features.

British National Formulary: BNF is where you look if you need to know what's in a medical drug, what the side effects are, who makes it, how expensive it is etc. It is a bit difficult to use so begin your search with a visit to the 'How to use' page, available via the 'About the BNF' link.

This site is for families of children with rare syndromes and disorders. It's good for background information and finding contacts. Factsheets, booklets and reports are made freely available.
