WAR & PEACE

Saturday March 18 is the third anniversary of the US occupation of Iraq. There will be another peace march through the streets of Wellington. However the local communist and anarchist run "peace movement" is unlikely to present New Zealanders with a plausible explanation as to why NZ should stay out of foreign wars, other than to spout the usual simplistic Left-wing slogans. Let us explain…

These wars are being fought to create what Pres. George Bush Snr. called a "New World Order" under United Nations auspices when he first attacked Iraq. This World Dictatorship is being created on the pretext of a "war on terrorism. " This is phoney. The USA needs conflicts to justify its global operations. The "Cold War" with communism served that purpose. Now that the Cold War has gone the globalists need other conflicts to frighten the world into accepting America as its "protector".

If the USA really opposes Islamic terrorism, it would have supported Milosevic against Albanian Islamic terrorists. The Serbs in Kosovo had long been the victims of Islamic terrorism. But the USA destroyed him, because Kosovo is one of the most mineral rich regions in Europe. The USA continues to back Islamic terrorists in Chechnya to undermine Russian influence, just as it backed the Islamic terrorists against Russia in Afghanistan.

WHAT ABOUT ISRAEL’S NUCLEAR ARSENAL?

Now we have Iran threatened on the pretext that the Iranians might develop nuclear weapons. If the USA were genuinely concerned about nuclear weapons in the Middle East it would have opposed the nuclear arsenal Israel has had for decades, and would condemn Israel for not signing the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Israel’s Dimona nuclear facility has been operating since 1957. Israel is heavily influenced by religious nutters every bit as fanatical as Muslim fundamentalists.

The war-mongering against Iran is not the result of a sudden concern about nuclear weapons. The war was planned in 2002 in a letter to Pres. Bush by a think tank called The Project for a New American Century, which includes many Bush advisers. They marked Iran, Iraq and Syria for liquidation.

NZ should not send troops during or after any war that does not serve our national or regional interests, including UNO "peace keeping exercises". We owe the USA nothing in its globalist adventures, much less Israel, which sends its Mossad agents here.

EXTREME LEFT BEHIND THE PEACE MARCH

Let ‘s now have a look behind the "peace movement" organising the anti-war march. The extreme Left has always sought to use well-meaning people to advance their causes. Lenin, the Russian communist leader, called them "communism’s useful idiots."

The primary organisation responsible for the anti-war march is Peace Action Wellington (PAW). The leadership includes those who are anything but "peaceful". Two of the main spokespersons of PAW, whom we shall call VM and JA, are Anarchists who were involved in a vicious riot against a pro-NZ flag rally in 2003. When that mob managed to isolate a lone NZ patriot they surrounded him, jeering at and punching him until he was bloodied and concussed. Pictures of the two primary PAW spokespersons show them at the front of the mob.

Grant, leader of the Socialist Worker group, who advocates "smashing" his political opponents, has also served as a spokesperson for PAW.

The PAW website links to the International Socialists, the Socialist Worker group (both Communist) and SNAP! a paper of the Wildcat Anarchist Collective.

PAW holds joint meetings with the Anarchists at Anarchist premises. One such meeting discussed the possibility of disrupting the parade for the return of the Unknown Warrior, which was called "ghoulish" and a "black farce".

Wellington City Council knows all about the background of PAW but insists on listing it on the Council’s website as a laudable citizens’ group.
