Report Visiting Committee.
In the absence of the other two members of the Visiting Committee who were unavoidably absent I examined the clothing in hands and am of the opinion that there are 30 pairs of Blankets, 30 Rugs, 60 yards of Linen, 80 yards of Linsey, 200 yards of Flannel required.

Letters Local Government Board.
The Clerk omitted to state that the Guardians who were present and who passed the resolution in reference to amalgamation held proxies from all absent Guardians empowering them to vote for the amalgamation scheme as proposed by Mr Robinson but owing to Quarter Sessions the Guardians were unavoidably absent but it can be noted that all the Guardians of this Union are perfectly unanimous.
Resolved. That the Local Government Board be requested to send down fifteen copies of Mr Robinson’s amalgamation reports.
The contractor for supplying shoes having submitted 12 pairs to the Board for approval.
Resolved that same be passed and that the Contractor be informed that unless the remainder of the order are strictly according to sample they will be rejected.

Read letter from Local Government Board No 801 Dated 15 th January 1885 in reply to Guardians resolution of the 2 nd inst. relating to the proposal to erect a dispensary and dispensary residence for the Achill Dispensary District

Re letter from Dr. Croly Medical Officer of Health, Achill Dispensary District stating that the fever cases are progressing favourably and that no new case has arisen since last report and drawing the Guardians attention to the urgent necessity of appointing a competent midwife to the district.
