Copy of Minutes of the Proceedings of the Board of Guardians 13th of March.

In the Chair: No meeting held. There being only two Guardians in attendance Messrs Patrick Moran and Edward Sweeney.

Treasurers Book of Receipts and payments was produced by which it appears that there had been received during the week £0 0s 0d

Paid during the week £50 2s 10d

And that the balance on the account against was £83 15s 11d

The following books were exhibited by the Clerk , he having first ascertained the accuracy of the entries made therein by the Master of the Workhouse and authenticated the same by his signature.

By which it appeared that the Cost of provisions and necessities received during the week was £9 15s 0d

Debit Provision Account and Credit Service Account

The cost of provisions and necessaries consumed was £12 0s 10d

Debit Maintenance Account and Credit Provision Account

And the General average cost of an inmate for the week was 2s 7½ d

The Master’s estimate of Provisions and necessaries required for the past and ensuing week were examined and orders were duly made for the several articles specified.

The Master reports that a woman named Margaret Gallagher has applied for a suit of clothes and a pair of boots that she may take her discharge.
