As you can see we have
representation from all groups, but could do with some help for Rebecca from
some Inters mums, so if you can spare one night a month to attend a short
meeting, we would love to see you.
If anyone has a question for
the committee, please see one of the committee members & if they can’t
answer your query immediately, they’ll bring it to a meeting & get back to
you.

BABY CONGRATULATIONS to Rebecca (Assistant Coach-Inters) & her husband

REMINDERS as
we go into our 2nd month of classes:
Registration/Dress Bank – If you haven’t already paid $47 registration &
$30 into your dress bank, please note that this must be paid next week. If we are late forwarding registrations to
Calisthenics Victoria, our club will be de-registered & our insurance
becomes void. It is also vital that
everyone starts putting money into their dress bank so that our costume mums
can start buying material. None of us wants to be rushing to complete costumes
at the last minute because there is not enough money in dress-bank to purchase
material or trim. Please ensure that you
complete the registration/medical/privacy forms when paying registration.
STAMPS –
Please start sending any used stamps that you’ve collected. If you give them to your dress bank mum,
they’ll be passed on to Miff in Seniors. Remember to leave approx 1 cm of envelope around the stamp.
TRACKSUITS/MERCHANDISE: Attached
to this newsletter is an order form but this year we have a few changes. From 2007, all teams will be able to wear black
dance pants with their club track suit tops. We request no ¾ pants or
jeans. If you have
club tracksuit pants that still fit your daughter, please continue to use them
until she has outgrown them. Girls are
requested NOT to wear slippers, ugh boots or thongs to & from competitions, only dance
shoes or sneakers should be worn.
Slippers etc may be worn in dressing rooms & during the competition
while the girls are in costume, but not with the club tracksuit.
CLASS ATTIRE: Team members are requested to wear black
leotards, fitted t-shirts if
necessary (no logos please). Dance pants
should not be worn during class, black tights are preferable. Remember all
girls should have their hair tied back & should bring their own (named)
water bottle to class each week.
CAMP: 18th, 19th & 20th
May. For all Juniors, Inters & Seniors.
The cost is the same as last
year, $110 per girl, $90 per mum.
Mums, please consider coming
to camp this year with your daughters, it really is a lot of fun. We found last
year that we really needed more mums to assist with the preparation of meals
etc so that all could relax by sewing, sequinning,
sleeping, reading, playing tennis or seeing the sights of Kyneton
while the girls were at class.
TAMBOURINES: We can’t locate a box of tambourines that we
thought were in the upstairs cupboard.
As they’re needed this year, if anyone can help us locate them, it would
be greatly appreciated. If you can help,
please speak to your dress bank mum.
