This is a story about the lust for land and the abuses that ensare many of the characters. The back drop is the desire for the last undeveloped parcel of land in Newport Beach California. And it is the back drop for a tidal wave of trouble and ensnarlments that ruin the lives of a few characters. But I try to weave it all into a wild fairy tale, a kind of stripped down one. One that is beautiful yet brutal. One that is light and wistful then harsh and solid. I hope you like it!
